I have a love hate relationship with this game, I bought it afew weeks after it came out when it was brand new had loads of fun learning new things and leveling up with friends, the more the game grew, the more people polpulated the server, in no time thatch structures and random bases popped up everywhere. That was problem number one, problem numer 2 occured when plant species x came out, this enabled anyone and everyone to have turrets, a large crop plot and some dino crap is pretty easy to get your hands on. Small bases with loads of turrets popped up everywhere, seemed like you couldnt leave your house without losing a dino to some plant X base. Then, when the ability to switch servers through the obelisks came out, o god. stuff got bad, Alpha tribes from other servers simply transferred powerful dinos and ran around our server wiping bases, this happened to me atleast 3 times but i kept playing, ( the game is fun as ♥♥♥♥) i dealt with this for awhile but didnt really mind, because the people would leave and i would just rebuild again, not that bad. But the calpha tribe on my server got scared of being wiped themselves, so them, being more powerful than anyone else, went around the map setting up turrets on all metal spawns and blocking drops and obelisks, i tried changing servers but almost ALL servers have this now, if you are new and hoping to have fun on an offcial server good luck to you.

I have played this game for about a year now and have watched it get better and better. Gameplay is fun and you are never bored. I will admit though, The game is slightly pay to win. I spent about 2 weeks of farming cash to fully upgrade my sniper on recon. One of my friends payed 10 dollars in steam and unlcoked it all in seconds.

Just warning everyone, if you plan on playing offcial servers DONT BUY THIS. Every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scorched earth server has all drops and obelisks blocked. It ruins the game.
