Honestly, kinda blows. post scriptum does everything this game does ten time better. Squad and PS players will find this very frustrating to play with 80 percent of your team running around like call of duty, and the other 20 percent trying to wrangle them in.

hot take but this game is in my top 10 of all time. the story is fantastic and can make up for the shotty gunplay. the chemistry the characters have ties the game together into a short and sweet playable action movie that'll leave you with a few tears.

Squad with some better and worse features. If you like hardcore FPS with lots of teamplay and or world war two this is a no brainer

Almost 400 hours on record and HOI4 is one of my favortie games of all time. I can see where people are comming from, saying how stale it is and a lack of replayabillity even with mods. But where HOI4 really shines is the multiplayer aspect. Having a 10 person game is amazing, with 5 players on Axis and 5 on Allies. If eveyone is using voice communication and knows what they are doing it is a really fun experince. The DLCs are a money grab obviously, but they add some nice things that are useful in multiplayer games (for the most part). I would get it if you had friends that play it or if its on sale.

edit: 1,200 hours later, its become one of the most popular RTS games of all time. If it wasn't for paradox's dlc policys this game could be 10/10. Only issue for me is how the multiplayer has become pure meta play and you lose if you try something new. Guess that's just a given with RTS games.

Waste of money. Concept looks cool but gameplay is stale and boring for a number of reasons. Graphics are sub-par, even on the highest settings. Don't waste you're money but Wargame instead.

Day of Infamy.
I bought it when it first entered early access, and played it 24/7. I ended up joining a realism unit for a short while, having a lot of fun in it. Up until the months close to the full release of DOI, the game changed a lot. The menues and gameplay felt more arcade like than before. I wish they would go back to how it was before. Overall it is a great game, and I recomend it.
