I was on my second play through using a level 110 warrior build. When I got absolutely stonewalled and whooped by ornstein and smough. They were not this tough during the first run, solaire wasn’t cutting it anymore. I needed a hero.. I sat there at the anor londo bonfire quietly humming to myself in the wee hours of the morn. “He’s gotta be strong, he’s gotta be fast. I need a hero till the end of the night!” I looked up and I saw the summon sign appearing. MERCER arrived in my hour of greatest need. Together it took me and Mercer over 25 attempts and better part of an hour & half to finally take these guys down. Time and time again I was expecting Mercer to quit or get bored but he never backed down so I couldn’t give up. We bested them on my last humanity and with a sliver of health left. I write this review for Mercer. Truly a triumph, may we meet again someday soon my good sir.
