Stupid, senseless fun. I love it. It has more customization and character, while not necessarily depth to it than GTA V.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR OPEN-WORLD ACTION THAT WILL HAVE YOU DIE IN YOUR SEAT LAUGHING, GET THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!

IF YOU THINK THIS GAME IS ANYTHING LIKE THE GRAND THEFT AUTO SERIES, TURN BACK IMMEDIATELY!

It's good fun for a while, BUT IT GETS TOO REPETITIVE! I'm not one to complain about repetitiveness, but for a game that I have spent at least 20 dollars on, I should not have to deal with the same map and missions over and over and over and over again. At least give us more maps, not have to rob the same mall over again or the same bank over again.

Early Access Review
I've only played it for a little while, but it looks like a great game. If you have ever played ROBLOX, it's extraordinarily similar to "Apocalypse Rising". Basically you start out as a naked guy, and look for gear, food, water, shelter whilst surviving a world after zombies overtook it. It's set in a coastal town in Canada. I haven't played the multiplayer, but I've heard the community is trash.

Basically it's a 7/10: reccomendable, but it won't always tempt you to keep coming back like other games I have played.

It's a good game. Micro-transactions aren't as infused as other F2P games and for once, I really enjoyed a freemium game. Sure, it's a little buggy, but it's still in beta and recently came out. I can definitely reccomend this game to others.

Mind you, this game can be hell at times to people who are still transitioning from console-PC FPS's (liek meh), so if you're liek meh, don't give up: this game is loads of fun and even though my K/D ratio is ridiculous, I'm still consistently entertained by this game and doesn't make me throw my mouse at the wall like Dust 514 for the PS3.

WHY IS THIS GAME SO GOOD?

This, of course, is because of many reasons:

1. The Community- I have met so many diverse and wonderful people while playing GMOD. You will never know whom you're playing with next.
2. Addictive- I have wasted so many hours of my life playing this game; once you get in, it's hard do get out.
3. Customizable- There's no limit for creation here, you can do anything you want!

This game has some flaws too. For one, the community is also a drawback- I have been noticing more squeakers and whiners than usual, but whatevs. The great parts of this game considerably outweigh the drawbacks of it.

10/10 -IGN
