For the record, I think Team Fortress 2 is a wonderful, fantastic, fun game. Great characters, great art style, great maps, cosmetics, weapons, etc etc. We all know TF2 is a timeless masterpiece, if not that than a very very good game overall. But this isn't what I'm here to talk about, I'm here to talk about the only reason I'm giving TF2 a negative review. It's the bots and the cheaters, simple as. Valve has done the very bare minimum in deterring these bad actors, even then the vast majority of those measures no longer do their job at all if even. Valve refuses to do anything about this problem that plagues Casual Mode, the go-to for any new player that wants to try out this free game. Speaking of free players, they can't use chat or even call for medic due to the obsolete anti-bot measures. Bot hosters simply upgrade their bot accounts to premium by buying cosmetics on the cheap, literal pennies due to idle and trading bots. That's right, not only do we have bots actively ruining games by instantly headshotting people the nanosecond they poke their head around a corner, there's also a massive item farming/trading operation going on. All of this is allowed to flourish and run wild because, once again, Valve refuses to do anything about this issue. TF2 has 25k-30k HUMAN players on the daily, nothing to sneeze at for a 16 year old game. Wit that many human players, Valve has more than enough reason to maintain an anti-cheat. Three times a year they drop new cosmetics, weapon skins and taunts. Three times a year a good chunk of the player base buys it up, shelling out piles of cash for those sweet sweet unusuals. With a loyal playerbase, some of who have been playing since release or shortly after, Valve is insane to simply look at the current problems surrounding TF2's bot problems and simply do nothing.

Valve, for the love of God, DO SOMETHING.

Very fun game, more so if you like Terraria, since this is also a 2D survival game.
Limitless exploration with incredible diversity in world, terrain, and NPC generation.
Ability to customize how you want to build a colony is absolutely terrific, though if you're not careful it can become a cluttered mess if you don't plan far enough ahead.
The story is nice, just make sure to not speed through too fast or else you'll hit a brick wall when it comes to equipment usefulness.

All in all, a really good game that's absolutely fantastic! It's also even better with friends!

Very very very fun game, more so if you play with friends. Building is great, the different game modes (except RP) are really fun!
