Its okay, I guess? Its not horrible, but not super fun either. Bought and played when released and recently, it's dead. Don't waste your money on the game unless somehow it gets revived, which is sadly unlikely. Game had a lot of potential.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite games. Yes, there are glitches and bugs here and there but honestly some of them make the game funny. Also, new players, there's some good resources under the big oak tree ;)

Ive been putting off a review for ARK for so long and I cant even begin to fathom how much fun i've had in this game. I remember my first days on ARK, and all up to my latest days. I remember taming my first dodo and obsessing over him. I remember the first place i made my home, Beach outside Raptor Valley, and I also remember my first death.. Dang Dilo.

What I can recommend about the game before playing:

• Solo can be fun but the game is always more enjoyable with other people. If you can, try to play with others.
  
• Don't think that you "have to play PvP to really understand how the game works. PvE is prefectly fine, and fun on its
  own, i've never played on an actual PvP server before.
  
• If you can, definitely try mods, and invest in the DLCs. They're all worth it. I gurantee you that 95% of my
  hours are on modded servers.
  
• Keep trying if you die. (I know this is pretty stupid, but i've had friends stop playing because of this) Trust me, it gets
  better!

The only thing I can even say negatively about this game is that I wish they had more building items and structures. Building is really fun and underrated but can quite... tedious and what not at points.
