Life is Strange

Please bear with me. I never thought I would play a game like this, am an FPS junkie, I love shooting things and sh*t. Lemme take you to the beginning. So this game Survive The Nights comes out, early alpha access or something and am super excited. Am a mac player and when I saw that I was available for mac I immediatly refunded the last game I had purchased (because of the Sale) and while I waited and waited I watched a BigFry video saying that I shouldn't buy the game, I'll be honest, I was a bit angry at the video but while I was waiting for the refund to appear back on my account the game recived a patch and it was no longer available for Mac, what a bummer I thought, couple of hours went by playing some fps and I get my money on my account back. So am looking at the Sale list to see what to buy and I come accross the fact that Life is Strange is free, I thought why not? I've heard the game before, it has good reviews and I didn't even read what it was about besides Its for mac and free. Didn't even finish the first episode when I decided to buy the entire game. I just felt intrigued by it, it kept me hooked, something I never thought would happen for a non FPS game. Fast foward and here we are, just finished the game and sh*t. Am a film buff so I did see some of the story elements but I was still enjoying myself, making Max feel like me, like that person you always wanted to be, decisions and decisions. It reminded me a bit to one of my favorite top 10 movies Donnie Darko, which is a good thing IMO, but expanded in a way I never thought it would. The Story, the characters, the decisions, it truly gave me an life lesson like no other form of media before.

So thats how I ended up here, from one BigFry video to having played one of the best games of all time.

I don't review many games but this one gets my 10/10*

What the developers made is a masterpiece that I will make everyone I know play.


*The only other game that has, for me a perfect 10/10 is Valiant Hearts: The Great War, just a fun fact.*

A fun little game that the only thing thats wrong with it is the not so short story.

I normally play only FPS; but I saw this game in the recommended section and decided to check it out. The Game was worth the money which was low and the price was right for what it gives you. All I can hope is that there is a sequel to this awesome game. Fun and Casual with a thrilling story which ends up in a sorta mux between 8 bit hitman and sherlock holmes.

At first I was angry; Its not your typical shooter at all. When I started playing I wasen't enjoying it at all and at some point I requested a refund! But I continue to play and give it a second chance.

Now am addicted to the game! The Devs are awesoma and though I havent played that much I can tell you this: its not for everyone but everyone can enjoy it! It takes some time but eventually its pretty fun.

I would give it 10/10 since its feels like a complete game that grows.
