Allright. so after almoast 3 and a half years i deinstalled this game. 3 and a half years and over 6k hours with not just this account, it was time for it...
To be honest im really sad that this game changed so drastic over the years. it started out as a simple survival game with dinos, and ended up with a not so survival-gamish content, cuz your flying nowaday with your tek monster, over multiple servers, burning down everything you see and just having a blast really (sidenote. if you are in a tribe with less then 20 REALLY active people then you are the dude that gets burned down). The game was facing many Problems, Hackers, douped items and going under the map. Well, it still is facing those problems, even months after the official release. The devs really dont give a F*ck and just keep avoiding problems but adding more NOT working content. (Example. Players were building under the mesh and dropping servers so they can dupe items. what wildcard did was adding a Toilet so your char can go there for the big buisness. even if you didnt went to the toilet you just poop where ever you stand. after this sentance you might have already forgot what i said at the beginning. servers where DDOS and problems avoided. see how easy that was? just talk some useless crap and people will forget the important stuff. Thx WildCard.)
But now lets get to some positive thing. The best part at this game, are the people you meet. I met MANY, very cool, wounderfull people i still love to play with, that i still have contact to even after all those years and miles seperated. Ofc you met some raging litle asian kids but that happens in every online game. The game itself is a very hard grind. like i said, most of those hours your sitting on your dino farming, or infront of an egg waiting for it to hatch. so those baby-pixels can take up to 1 week of your attention. (Not Kidding) The people you meet every day by logging in your tribe keep you playing tho. the community is pretty great. most tribes i played with over the years, i always logged on not to just simply "play" this stupid game, but more to discover with friends the maps, dinos and possibilies that this game can offer you for JUST 60 bucks ( 60$ is no way in f*cking hell worth it but it dropped down to just a few once in a while ).
In Conclusion. if you are considering buying this game now as a beginner, safe your money and buy ARK2.0 instead, also called ATLAS. because you missed the best parts, wich were personally for me the years 2015,2016 and beginning 2017. So before all this TekMeGaSuperDuperHypedSeRverWiping stuff (Before tek was added). when you could play with your small group of 10 to 15 people, and always have a smile by logging on and off ARK.
At this point i wanna thank all the guys who played with me over all those years, here and there and made me come back and play again and again :D <3
