tl;dr: this is literally just a reskinned and upscaled mobile racing game (and not even a good one at that) made by some shovelware company, with the store page of the game being 10 times mores interesting and fun than the game itself.

but if you want a more detailed review (at least as detailed as a casual pleb who knows as much about NHRA and drag racing as the devs of this know about making games, and that is also writing his first ever review on steam :p), here it is: by the menu, you can already feel that the devs had as much passion making this game as our world-renowned goalkeeper Bruno had for his lovers, and even before starting a race you can feel that this was a mobile game that they just upscaled for PC (especially on the settings, where you can't even change anything besides volume, so good luck for anyone with a not-so-great PC, especially when racing on a more detailed drag strip).

on gameplay, i suggest you check out the opinions of the veterans of this genre, since as said before, i'm pretty much a casual pleb in drag racing games, although if i have to comment on something, it's how the devs think that cars just become silent for like 2 seconds after every gear shift (and overall, even though i knew that this wasn't gonna be competing with proper racing games in the sound department, it still dissappointed me hard). on the multiplayer section is where the only thing to praise about this ~30$ unreal engine/blender/source/whatever game engine experiment, where they at least got bothered to put split screen, but too bad that they couldn't be bothered with adding proper online multiplayer, with the "online" option being assyncronous multiplayer like a time trial in an F1 game (and with how little care the devs probably have for this, don't get shocked if the leaderbord is full of cheaters... although, who in the flying hell would cheat in a game like this?). as for career and livery customization, with how lackluster the game is, i think you gotta hate yourself quite a lot to invest your time with stuff like that.

i get that the NHRA certainly isn't in the same level of prestige as F1 or NASCAR to get top notch gaming companies to be bothered to get their license, but how much were the guys at NHRA offered to simply let a crappy shovelware company make a game for them? i really wanna know because as much as some extra money is nice, they could be gaining a lot more if they gave their license to some proper developers. to give a good example, many of the people here in Brazil that i know that follow NASCAR started thanks to games (especially the EA ones) and because they liked them so much, they decided to follow the series. of course i'm not expecting the NHRA to automatically become a worldwide household name just because they have a good game, but it could easily help them grow if they actually bothered to get some actual decent developers to give them their license.
