Lovely game, nice story, amazing artwork and great side quests but the last 2-3 hours were getting a bit repetitive.

There is a big turning point where money isn't an issue anymore and everything goes quite fast. Upgrades feel less grindy and once you have unlocked the best equipment there is no point of looking back to your old gear. Would also love beter and more equipment that you would need to find around the world (from secret treasures, puzzles or quests), because simply researching the best equipment gets quite boring.

The variety of fish is fine but I missed more tricky catching mini games, the reeling of "rare fish" wasn't hard or anything (the only challenge was to find them). Also the sanity gimmick is really nice but could have been a bit more punishing. I also missed keeping fish as trophies, it would have been nice that you had like a little trophyroom where you could display your proudest catches.

The art style is certainly stunning, it gives at certain moments a really relaxing feeling and other moments are quite scarry and stressfull. The soundtrack is also really good and overall just a stunning game.

I also would love new updates or dlc's for extra regions/ biomes new ports, more characters, more boat upgrades or different types of boat with different cosmetics and functions. I didn't get the feeling that Dredge was incomplete but I couldn't get enough of it. That's why i would like to see more of it in the future :D

So my final conclusion is if you're into exploring waters, fishing and spooky moments. You're in for a treat, hope you have the same pleasant experience that I had. (also keep in mind it's a short game full completion would take around 10-20 hours)
