2.0 is here and the game is absolutely fantastic. With the Phantom Liberty DLC this almost feels like a sequel

Pure fun.
It's not like Tony Hawk's where you're trying to stick the landings, it's all about making it flow from one target to the next while maintaining a combo. This makes it endlessly replayable as you constantly devise new ways to tie it in smoother and more efficient
Such a brilliant idea and the art/music is an absolute vibe too

Definitely recommend. I've played most of the souls game and this one is the hardest but honestly the fairest. Once the combat clicks, it CLICKS and is probably the most addictive combat I've experienced.
This is a rhythm game. Take your time, learn an enemy and get those parries down.

Not to mention the Japanese setting is absolutely gorgeous. Music/aesthetic/landscape is perfect

It's about as corny as something could possibly be yet still fun af to just chuck on some music and vibe to.

9/10 solid blend between sim and arcade
I'd give it a 10 if i could turn off the damn dialogue

Hypnotic.

You'll spend hours making the perfect template with just the right zoning ratios. You'll keep everyone healthy, educated, entertained and busy. Then you'll be nothing but a traffic controller for the remainder of that city until you start a new one. Rinse & repeat.

Absolutely brilliant.

First souls game for me; the open world hooked me in. I love that you're never stuck and can always head in another direction and come back when you're stronger.

Be prepared for lots of googling as there are times when this game genuinely feels like it doesn't want to be played by you. As though you are literally unworthy to play it. It doesn't feel the need to explain much to you.
Lots of the quests are obtuse to say the least. It is there but you'll absolutely have to go digging for it. To be honest this hasn't been a bad thing though. In fact, the accomplishment you feel as you unlock the secrets and lore is a fantastic and frankly addictive feeling.

Combat is superb. Probably the first game I've ever played where it has truly felt flexible

Go forth and get amongst it if you're hesitant. This truly is unmissable

ALSO: This game is completely playable on Mouse & Keyboard if you're wondering though you'll have to alter the bindings as the default ones are genuinely bizarre. Message me if you want my configuration that has been working smooth af for 20 hours

Set aside 3 hours and treat yourself to this delightful piece of art featuring one of the most stunning worlds and the best soundtrack I've heard in recent memory
