Sledgehammer has done it again -- taken a COD game with amazing potential and throwing it down the drain. Infinity Ward, hell, maybe the Call of Duty franchise is losing its charm, impact, and creativity, taking a once beloved series into a call for attention and wealth, possibly to revive a dying series. The stories (one of the main reason I play these games), are not only short, but unfulfilling and rushed. Weaponry is same old, gameplay same old, but remixed by taking the best of the first two games, making it seem like the developers can't make up their minds on gameplay, or even finding challenging ways to innovate and evolve their game further. It's a literally a frankenstein of a game.

The maps, maybe more than half, although open and allow exploration, are nearly ALL Warzone 1 maps that have been cut and repurposed for this campaign.

It's painfully obvious to see the financial goal of the developers. I hate to see a great early potential go to waste, but I'll have to play through the original series just to wash the taste out of my mouth of this game. Big cinematics with mediocre dialogue, blander plot. I'll be returning this game and watch my streamers before spending however much they justify their glorified DLC to be.

Call of Duty needs to take a break. It needs to be tossed out the window and reinvented. It needs someone else to take the reigns, a new creative direction.

Definitely easily became one of my FAVORITE platformers of all time. The artwork and art design, subtle but deep interpersonal character development, and extremely fun gameplay. Had to say, I had a LOT more fun planting and getting rice perfect than I thought! It's worth a perfect file, maybe even start over with the knowledge I have now!
