Wanted to try bo6 beta
dont get me wrong bo6 multiplayer is probably pretty good, that is if i can even play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

20 minutes or so with 5 restarts to even get into bo6 because they released this ♥♥♥♥ HQ thing
finally got in and did the omnimovement course and the game crashed like 2 times.

now its stuck launching, well done activision

so basicly, ♥♥♥♥ this HQ thing its so buggy. (thats where my review is based off right now)

fun like the old days, but its so buggy right now.

constant crashing due to some specific buildings, villagers that suddenly dont know what to do and just idle instead of continuing tasks they were doing, other issues where the game just freezes.

i have to say though apart from that its fun and looks good, but it feels like this is just a graphics update with some rebalancing that broke the game.

its really hard on titan difficulty like the original, and this game has 2 more difficulties on top of that.
but, fun enough, good enough

I beat the dlc with no summons, used multiple builds

I can say after beating it, it's a great dlc, though there's a few issues.

- Performance
- Loot in the dlc
- Hitboxes on bosses not matching with animations

Performance issues occur in bigger areas or when certain bosses have a big nuke, some bosses like gaius have hitbox issues, including messmer.
I presume they will fix it so no reason for me to bad review the dlc just cuz of that.

Loot is another issue, you are already after mohg and presumably have all bell bearings (or almost)
There is no reason really to put stones that are +1 +2 +3 etc in the dlc...
Same with just random items like bolts, who needs them?
Recycled content is a bit of a thing as well, dragon peak felt amazing in world design and such but its just the same 3 dragons over and over, same goes for the ghostflame dragons, i expected more unique enemies.

Apart from those points though
World design is insane and bosses are really enjoyable to fight (except gaius if you ask me), incredible dlc

If the hitbox/performance issues would be fixed, i'd give it a 9.25/10 (cuz still recycled content)


ps:
people crying about the difficulty need to explore and get better, the fragments are there for a reason.
if you can't beat the bosses there's enough tools for you to do so, just use a summon what do you have to prove?
just go have fun instead of crying about it

Yeah, at this moment don't buy this at all.

The combat and stamina system is quite terrible, so are the enemies they are buggy as hell.
There are some places where ur fps just ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed.

Anyway the game doesn't really look like the screenshots provided and such. (i mean HUD wise)
Combat looks way different in trailers aswell unfortunately.

I could not get my controller to work with the game at all , not even after reading the steam discussion post.


Apart from all this the environment is quite stunning (sure there are a bit of low res textures) but the thought of it is quite amazing.
If they fix the jank/sluggish and stamina and buggy enemies i will come back to play again.
It seems the game was not ready for release after all.

So, i dont know where to start.

First of, the game has a very good foundation for survival. It is missing alot of features from the first game though, which is dissapointing.

The story is the worst part of this game, i dont know how to describe it, it is just strange and weird and doesn't match the story from the first game at all.
Since the devs said this is almost the final product, if the ending does not get changed it is simply the worst ending ive ever witnessed.

That being said, building is amazing and survival aspect of this game is also amazing.
Though since the story is so bad i simply can't recommend it.

This is the best game I've ever played.
Game is near perfect, few performance issues but they fixed a few + it's not too bad if you use RTSS.

11/10 game
0/10 keyboard controls (controller definitely required)
fps cap (60) is fine if you play with controller, which you should anyway.

overall great game and great puzzles.

After 100% completing the game, I can say this game is amazing and well worth your money.
One of the best story rpg's with great art and dialogue I've ever played.

Easy the best game I've ever played in my life.
