In regards to your post on Viodium

To make a server work you can't wait for people to join :P. Its like if you've created a new product and you want people to buy it. You have to sell it, not actually sell it for money, but sell it as in persuade the consumers as to why they should buy it. Like that you should advertise your server. There are different ways of doing this. Ofcourse you could just go server to server asking people to join, probably wont go well though. You could however, do some real hard work on tags, making a nice title, and plugins and such, then invite lots of your friends into the server. This deffinitely makes the server look more appealing, especially with lots of other people in it.

TL:DR
Making a server is all about hardwork, you can't just assume it will fill itself up.
