A real shame that this game has become what its become. I'm not going to pretend that i was here from the start, i certainly wasnt but ive been here for some time and i cant say ive seen a single positive change made.

This is a game which deceptively brings you in with a surprisingly fast unlock time for new vehicles however the time it takes to unlock new things quickly increases and it increases exponentially. Anyone with just a couple hours can quickly be fooled into thinking that with regular play, new vehicles will steadily accumulate keeping the game fresh, this is far from the truth. There are many players i know who have sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours into this game and who have been playing for years and each of them have only one or two of the top tier vehicles if they even have any at all. This game does not render itself to the majority of casual players and if you feel like achieving litterally anything here beyond the mid tier vehicles it is almost a necessity to buy premium accounts or vehicles to ease the grind and neither of these things are cheap, and in the long run they provide marginal benefit.

All of this is a real shame since the game has a host of accurately depicted historical vehicles combined with a unique damage model that makes this game stand out from similar titles such as world of tanks.

All of this is skipping over the bigger and more relevant issue. A game with a punishingly long grind may be a scummy and thoughtless way of artificially inflating your games content but even if you spend thousands of hours reaching the cool top tier planes and tanks which you want to play with, you cant use them.

and no im not being sarcastic, you cannot use these vehicles in the games current state.

Rather than reward you for your hours of time investment or paid money the game will instead tax you excessively with its ingame currency just for using these vehicles. Even at mid tier its a struggle and at top tier you NEED to have something like a 3-1 K/D ratio just to break even let alone actually profit.

All this considered ive found this game to appear as a faithful historical vehicle combat sim but under the surface it is a disgustingly deceptive and punishing monetary grind that does nothing but punish players for investing time and money rather than reward. Would not reccomend
