Must have. This thing moves at an average speed of 45 knots in any direction at any time of day.
Very easy to control and simply flying over a port allows you to enter. Any port since the Balloon is
treated as a trade vessel.
I have made so much money moving passengers and the distance or direction matters not one bit.
The Balloon is also a great scouting tool. You can direct your mates towards vessels they would never hope
to see, putting them on a straight intercept to the target.

Fun game. Maps are modeled after actual US Civil War engagements.
There is a public server running 24 hours a day anyone can join. The battlefield (map) in the public server rotates to a new one every 30 minutes or so or until one side or the other wins the battle. There could be more public servers, I don't know.
The public battles are mostly chaos. About half of the time you will get an experienced Officer who keeps you from having a bad day. If you become a casualty you can immediately re-spawn into the game.
Graphics are fantastic. Sound is NASA level good.
I played so many hours when I first started my wife forgot I was home and was sneaking her boyfriend into my house.
He's a good guy.

Complete garbage. If you spend money on this junk you're officially a fool. You've been warned.

Garbage. I started playing on a tip from a friend. I'm a DCS/MSFS veteran and always liked space games so I gave it a try.
It's monotonous and just stupid to play this game. The "combat" consists of pushing buttons. It's so lame I can't describe it. You travel through these "stargates" to different solar systems and after a while you notice they are all exactly the same. They might put a different set of planets and asteroid belts, but, trust me when I tell you it is the same boring area over and over no matter how far you go.
I went to take off from a space station to do some "exploring" and there were guys just waiting for people to undock and come out so they could start their button clicks (they call it, laughably, "combat") and destroy my ship. It's just ridiculous since you are defenseless when you first come out so it is so far out of balance you can't do anything to save yourself. You have to spend literally hours watching animations when you want to travel anywhere. Yep, you're not "traveling" at all. You're watching a ship on TV and not playing a game. You push two buttons at two different points to "travel" through space. You're really just sitting there watching and I can't tell you how boring it is to just sit there for ten or fifteen minutes, pushing a button, and just watching your ship. You have to do this for hours to equip your ship because the parts you need are all over the map. It's also a money grab which really got me angry. You have to buy "PLEX" to be able to do anything at all worth doing (the free ships are worthless) and then these thieves automatically enroll you in a subscription which enables them to literally steal your money without your knowledge. One of the worst games I've tried in a long time and I regret wasting the $48 and time I spent trying to play. Don't waste your time with this joke of a game man. All you will end up doing is wasting a lot of your time and money for one of the lamest games I've seen in a long long time.

A really fun game. Do not let the graphics fool you. If you buy this game you will be very engaged.
It takes a lot of work to build up your home and property. Very rewarding to do it though.
As a beginner, I would recommend you create a character who is very good with the bow, then the spear in that order.
Try to avoid encounters with the Njerpz, however, if you have to fight you want to use the bow to keep yourself alive.
Broadheads aimed at the head will usually kill a Njerpz warrior with one shot.
I'm a serial killer in the game. Once you are comfortable with the bow and spear, any character you catch in the wilderness you should take him out and loot the body and whatever they drop.
When you first start, build a shelter next to a body of water and start chopping down trees and making boards.
After you get what you need by trading in the villages with boards, make mass quantities of paw board fox traps. They are light (you have to carry things and you have a weight limit) and you can trade them for valuable food and equipment.
The world you exist in is very large and varied. Mountains, hills, meadows, forests, lakes, rivers. Huge amounts of plants to use medicinally and for food.
Many ways to trap the huge number of different species of animals. Hideworking is cool. You can make your own warm clothing and leather armor with the animals you trap or hunt.
You can be a fisherman if you like. Or a hunter. Or a farmer Or a trapper. Or all of them.
Replayability is off the charts. You'll never want to give up your character though.
After building up your property and having dogs and livestock you feel attached to them.
The dogs are great for combat and hunting. I always keep a pack of them.
You will love this open world game. I have over 500 hours and still have not done everything the game has to offer.
Buy this game man. You'll love it. No, my dad is not the developer. Stop it.

Awesome sailing simulator.
Seriously. This is a really fun sailing simulator.
Pretty sure this is my first review of a game. Anywhere.
I grew up playing Pong. Atari. Intellivision.
A manly man with serious gaming chops am I.
I have no skin in this game, I just wanted people to try
this sailing simulator because it is darn good.
Anyway.

You get a boat. A 36' sailing yacht just like the one in the picture on the box.
This simulator walks you through EVERY SINGLE STEP to sail your
yacht through this really cool world they call the Shearwater Islands.

I am a huge fan of charts and charting tools and plotting courses and
figuring out your position and all that other cool stuff. This simulator has that
as well.
You Silent Hunter fans will know what I mean.
The plotting tools are sparse compared to Silent Hunter, however, they work well
enough for you to navigate around the island group in this particular simulator just fine.
The really cool part is all of the training modules are clearly marked and you can
do them over and over until you are proficient in the concept they are teaching you.
They use a building block approach for your "training".
If you mess up or miss something, you can hit a button and the training module starts
from the begining instantaneously. Huge plus when you are an absolute novice and your not in
the mood to have your time wasted. This simulator is all business in that regard.
If this simulator and Silent Hunter somehow could get together, and I got to play it, I would
without doubt die a happy gamer.
Sorry. Thanks.

If this gem of a game could be modded to include a steam engine I would build a temple for the modder and name him a deity.

Good game though. Bare bones. Reminds me of the old Train Simulator game.
Remember that game? You could buy it and actually have content without being hit up by racketeering extortionists?
Hope this game goes old school like the games used to be.
