Can be fun, but only consists of ~4-5 maps which always favor one team and has repeated the same mistakes as Chivalry did, those being feinting (though to a much worse degree in this game) ruining the flow of the game, OP weapons that take up most kits, and drags/accels which are easy to execute and defend against but dont match up the animations. Can be fun, just nowhere near worth 30$, 15$ or so would be worth it.

I loved Stalker CoP and SoC and even CS (a bit) but the thing that disheartens me are the bugs (among other things). This mostly regards Faction War (Which mine broke a couple of times and permanently did for Duty vs. Freedom which made the game a chore later in the game). The game can also be extremely unfair, and while a challenges are good and welcome, the game just creates parts which you need to save scum to get through and somehow manage to avoid the constant rain of grenades (they never stop and theyre completely accurate every time and they one shot you while AI can take ~5). Also gunplay is extremely odd, your bullets will go anywhere but where you aim to the point where you dont aim at the enemy, just around, also, guns jam every 10 shots on average, even with high condition. In the later parts of the game which drops the RPG elements and transistions right to FPS exclusively, no artifacts, no real characters, just shootout after shootout with the occasional hoard of mutants spawning randomly (Red Forest) and theres one point where you lose all of your money and never get it back, and doing the side quests/Faction War stuff before may slow the rest of your game to a crawl. The last thing that got to me was the very last part of the game, I previously mentioned how its shootout after shootout, and this is extremely true for the CNPP exterior/ Limansk. The very last part if the biggest chore in a game in which you are restricted to small arenas, either catwalks or roofs, in which not only are your weapons radomly equipped oddly and swapped around but enemies also spawn right in front of you and at this late stage, they can 2-5 shot you in an instant. I would recommend skipping this one and moving straight to CoP which has a more fleshed out story, better gunplay (kinda), and more customization.

Updates are far and wide between each other usually taking months to release. Even after years of release into EA it is still in there with barely any signs of moving to beta. The game is full of glitches and dull, if you're looking to play DayZ, find an ARMA mod for it.
