I played the original a lot, and for anyone complaining about this game's monetization, the original's was so much worse. Despite the negative reviews, this game is not p2w or grindy. If you do the daily missions, which are pretty easy, you'll get a steady flow of card packs. The card crafting is fine, just pick 2-4 factions as scrap factions and you'll be able to craft whatever you want. You can play any faction for free with the premade decks independent of your card collection, so focus on a few to main and use the others to generate crafting material. The gameplay is great, I loved it in the original, and the balance changes made here by the new devs are appreciated and feel like they were made by fans of the game. Every faction is really well balanced around their unique playstyles, and the game still has hands-down some of the best spritework I've ever seen. Definitely give it a try, but just know that like almost every other CCG it will take some time to get the best stuff, however it's worth it for the art, lore, and gameplay in my opinion.

More movie than game, however the choice of emotion still gives some depth to the dialogue. Not a choose-your-own-adventure game, but totally worth the cost. The characters are believable and surprisingly deep, the art style fits both the style and the narrative amazingly, the camera work and transitions are masterful, and the soundtrack is used perfectly, hiding when it needs to before swelling to fill the otherwise quiet and serene transition scenes. I haven't finished the game yet but at this point even a bad ending wouldn't change my thoughts: get this game, treat it like a film, and you'll enjoy it.

Lotsa fun

This game is AMAZING. But what with how popular this game is, I'm sure you''ll already know most of these. The game has fast paced combat, great multiplayer, lotsa good grinding but not too much, a very deep and dark storyline, barrels of jokes and adult humor, an amazing gun line up, great DLC, memorable characters, and something most games don't have anymore: an antagonist that you really hate (or like). In so many games it's just "THERES THE BAD GUY BANG BANG YOU GET ALL THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥", but you'll really come to despise Handsome Jack. The only downsides are the fetch quests can get repetitivte, and sometimes the game's pace can be pretty slow.
