It's a great game, I've been playing for a long time and I can say that it surely has some potential. Now, of course, it isn't perfect, it has few minor bugs and there is room for improvement in regards to the gameplay (more units, more modes, etc), but it's still worth buying and I guess that I'll be ready when Home Wars 2 is dropping.

THIS MOD IS A MOCKERY

Seriously,

It's ugly and filled with unnecessary fonctions/weapon sway;
Ennemies are WAY TOO OVERPOWERED (Heavy suits + OP weapons);
When you're hurt (all the time) the screen gets all weird;
The gameplay is just "Shoot at the bad guys";
The voice acting is painful;
The maps are unninteresting;
The "stealth gameplay" is just walking behind idle ennemies;
The new weapons are bad looking/sounding;
The new playermodels look so dumb (mostly that guy with the weird beard);
The lore is stupid;

To conclude, probably one of the worst HL2 mod ever (next to "Hunt Down the Freeman") and you shouldn't waste your time on it.
