Actual total game time is around 80 hours, adding completion on the PS4 version.

The game has it's faults, beating every level in reverse with eye beating filters for completion and hidding boxes in unthinkable places was questionable at best, but that aside, it's extremely fun to play.

Best platformer I've ever played, period.

Great game, and for sure the best Sonic game I've played since Unleashed.

Just a few gameplay and story complaints:

- Speed and Ring upgrades take way too long;
- Do the speed upgrades even increase my speed at all?
- Some enemies stealing the camera away everytime I run past them... that's annoying;
- Flashback cutscenes, specially the Sage one on the third island... why?
- Speaking of Sage, everyone just forgets her at the end? (Eggman aside)

- Unskipable cutscenes and credits which hurt replayability;
- No incentive to play arcade mode. Forget new stuff, it doesn't even have score board... not even a prompt to tell me I got a new record. Nothing.

Hope they build on this game's foundation in the future. I see really good potential here.

Fun game, but very short. Less than 12hours(or so steam is telling me) to do absolutly everything the game has to offer.
Unfortunatly it's a letdown when compared with Momodora:RUtM by the same developer, which is one of my favorite indie games on steam, and the main reason I bought Minoria in the first place. The games do have a lot of similarities, but I feel like the main story is the only department where Minoria did a little better, but even there it's as simple as it can get... in other words I feel like Minoria did very little forward and a lot backwards in relation with previews works.

Still gonna recommend sinse I did have fun playing it, but also recommend getting it at a discount if possible.
As for the developers, I love their work, so if they are still planning on making more games, I wonder what they learned with this project and what ideas do they have to improve on it, which is desperatly needed right now. Wish you all the best of luck =)

So, I was on the final scene of the game, saying goodbye to Niko and all, everything was going fine and dandy... but then, instead of going through the portal, Niko decided to leave the game window, go through my desktop and below my computer. I tried to tell him that there are no wheat fields and no village there, but this game sucks so much that the only thing I can communicate with him is already set up dialogue by the developers...

Being serious now, I laughed my ass off when that happened, it caught me completly by surprise. Not sure how I feel about a game breaking my computer, but whatever, that was good xD

As for my final opinions, I didn't think the game was anything amazing. I ended up thinking "why should I care" some times through the game, the game is way too linear and the "one shot" choice not only was made invalid but even if it it wasn't the choice was very easy to make and the payoff was basically non-existant. I ended up liking characters like the cafe manager and the plant lady(Ling and Maize) more than actually vital characters like Rue, Cedric, Prototype, etc. which I don't know it's particularly good either. Niko and TWM are fine, not great but enjoyable.

Gameplay wise, I must say was never obliged to switch the a game from windowed and full screen mode so much(the windowed mode is just too small to play in) and that portal puzzle crashed my game 2 times when I was experimenting on how to solve it. However there were cool original puzzles, and I even got stuck in one of them that was actually pretty easy and I ended up feeling really dumb when I figured it out, I liked it. The game was pretty entertaining in general.

Story wise, I think I need to spoiler tag cause I might spoil some stuff. Monika, you broke the 4th wall hard, but oneshot dropped a Nuke on it, holy crap, and I don't say this properlly as a positive. It was a bit awkward, I must say. The game likes to put words on my mouth that I don't want to say and doesn't let me speak when I want to(well, of course not) and that's kind of a recurrent thing. Of course it had to be like that, but... in a story like this, this kinda breaks the immersion a lot. The idea itself, however, was pretty interesting and, even though the game doesn't let me do it, I kept having this urge to say stuff to Niko out loud during some dialogue in the game, which is pretty stupid on my part and only do stuff like that if you are alone at home, but entertaining nonetheless. What I'm trying to say is that it was not great, but had it's positives too.

Oneshot is not the greatest experience and it's not particularly amazing in any aspect. In he end, for Niko it's just another dream, and for me it's just another lighthearted story like any other that is well worth a shot if you want some hours of entertainment.

LiEat is a game with an original and really interesting concept, with a not so great execution... Although It's not a bad game by any means, unfortunatly, it's pretty mediocre in almost every aspect.

What I really liked about the game:
- Dragons are beings identical to humans born from a human's deep desire. They are the only magical beings in the verse and each one of them has a unique power. Never seen it before and I can say I like it.
- The game's heorine, Efina, a cute dragon with the power to make lies manifest as physical monsters, that she uses to feed herself, making her a living lie detector. It's a really interesting and fun concept for a character. I would like to see more of her growing up, but the game time span is less then a year, so I was not so lucky there...
- Pretty nice illustrations.
- It's short.

What was decent/mediocre about the game:
- Teobaldo Leonheart(a.k.a Theo), our main male character, is a smart con artist with a natural talent for lying. He likes to help people but has his own way of doing so. I ended not caring much for him for the character he his, but for what he means to Efina as a parental figure. He does have some cool moments, though.
- Didn't find any memorable tracks in the game. As BGM, they are decent, but I don't think I will ever go out of my way to listen to any track independently.
- Pixel Art and game design... not terrible, but not really my style.

What I disliked about the game:
- The story of the game is a complete waste on the original and cool concepts it introduced. The first two seasons felt like filler and the last one, even though it gave some actual plot and some glimpse of a reason for the previews two seasons to exist, it still fell flat... Theo managed to develop in a nice way but it still feels it could have been so much more.
- The division of the game by seasons is terrible. I've played other games that did the same just fine(Angels of Death or Noel the Mortal Fate), but this one introduces itself as an rpg that encourages grinding. It just feels like I'm reseting everything everytime I begin a new season, and it doesn't help that the gameplay is always the same, I have to collect the same items all over again and reacquire abilities I already had.
- Besides the 2 main characters, everyone else is completly forgetable.
- Baby level difficulty. Effort is needed to actually lose a battle.

In the end, for the already stated reasons, I don't think I can recommend LiEat to anyone, but do try it out if you really feel you'll enjoy it anyway.

I thought I bought a full game, but I guess it's still on going and far from over.
The music it's pretty much one of the game's strongest points, the plot sure has it's problems and could use some work here and there but overall pretty enjoyable, and it does have a fun cast of characters if we take Jino out.
The biggest problem with the game would be the localization, cause seriously, character names and places badly spelled, grammatical mistakes everywhere, random gibberish when you collect items and sometimes in the middle of dialogue, words disappearing outside the dialogue box...
The game itself is pretty good, so I'll give a positive review, however, I do hope the game gets an update.

I'll be patiently waiting for the next seasons.

What a weird and twisted love story this was. I liked it.

I got to Danny's corpse 3 times, after shooting him, to confirm he was dead. The guy wasn't alive... he revived.
Let just sink in that by the end of the game, Zack was smart enough to break out of a prison alone, get his scythe and clothes back, find out exactly where Rachel was and sucessfully break her out of the building from outside

Taking this out of the way first, this game is very different from the original Yume Nikki, and I do believe that many things in it might throw off many old fans of the game, such as(if you don't mind spoilers):
- There's no longer vast worlds to explore and get lost into. Even though you can still choose the the worlds you want to visit first, once inside, the game does have a very linear feel to it and a lot of simple puzzles to resolve. Get to the end of a door world and you beat it;
- Now, the Nexus has only 6 doors as opposed to the original 12, and a total of 5 effects as opposed to the original 24(one of which is original);
- Unfortunatly, Uboa does not happear in the game. You can find art of it as a collectable, though;
- Don't forget this is a reimagining. A lot of the characters in the original do happear in this game, but some of them may be a lot different than you remember. This game also does not rely on interpretation or in a surrealist atmosphere as much as the original.

*The game also has a lot of bugs, but I do believe the devolopers are working on it and patching the game fairly regularly.

Yume Nikki -Dream Diary- takes reference of the original Yume Nikki and tries to transform it into an experience similar to other recent indie horror games(the most recognisable one being Inside). Find items, effects and use the environment to solve puzzles in all the 6 different dream worlds, and find pieces of artwork on your way to complete your dream diary.
As a stand alone game, I do think it was a fairly good game. It felt pretty generic at times, but it's still pretty engaging and not too hard for a puzzle platformer game, the music is pretty good with many recognisible and remixed tunes and the cenearios are pretty well made. I enjoyed what I got, however, as someone who played and does know how vast the original Yume Nikki is, the reimagining really did feel too short, it felt like I only got to play a third(or less) of the game even after completing it and I do not feel like it was worth the full price.
With that in mind, if you find the game on a good sale, do give it a try and enjoy.

As been so many years(around 8 or 9) since I played and completed this game for the first time. The game wasn't anything special, no story, no really fun gameplay mechanics... you just wander through various worlds in search for items/effects and that's pretty much it, but even so, strangely enough, there was something of fascinating about the game that I could never explain, something that attracted me to it, something that made me remember about it to this day and makes me still bring it up from time to time.
It's not a great game by any means of the word, but it's a classic that I'm glad to see on steam.

I have spent a lot of money in games that didn't leave a fraction of the impact DDLC(a *free* game on steam) gave me.
For this reason, I'm happy to give my support as a thanks to the creative minds behind it and support Team Savato future projects in hopes they'll make even better experiences than this one.
