Decent game, however, get rid of the water mechanic

my dad recently died after i got this game and i havent played due to these circumstances:tm:
now i have lost most of my progress, hahaha, isnt that fun?

for all the people saying water isn't an issue to get, the issue is its a FOMO mechanic designed to keep you playing the game or otherwise risk losing your progress, for a game that tauts itself to "not be like all those other games" this is a confusing decision.

i'm not sure myself, but they added water thieves too, whatever that means, my friend and i booted up for a sesh but got shot by the last surviving member n thus lost all his ♥♥♥♥ too, not even by not playing the damn game.

edit; i have been playing this game again, and its atleast fun. attop of that they made a season pass for all the weapons which is considerably cheaper. if you like horde shooters n stuff just try it and if you dun like prolly refund it within the two days idk.

Loved the game, recently turned into an ABSOLUTE mess, f*** your balancing, and even more so, f*** paying 10 euros for a weapon dlc. if 10 people buy that stuff they already got 100 euros in the bag, if more do, they've got more, that's bound to pay back for that work as digital goods only need to be produced ONCE. if you'd pay that for something tangible that'd be fine, but honestly. pricing this cheaper wouldn't have mattered an ounce for the game's survival, as i'm pretty sure more people would buy the dlc's if they were cheaper.

if i can eat for half a week, if not more cuz thats being generous, from the money they're asking for an intangible ware that they're probably making quite big profits from, i ain't buyin it.

I hate what this industry has become.

back in closed beta it already was a small bit of a buy to progress way easier since the grind was long and tidious, but with all the new ways to get new stuff WAAAY easier then actually playing the game and grinding for like 12 different high tier items to get even higher tier item + like 500 copper + a load of metal + wires in the later components it's quite the grind, AND ontop of that you even need like 200.000 credits to rent a workbench for the higher tier parts. which you don't get that easily ontop of all the parts and resources that you need to hoard. the rest of the game is ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH in my opinion, but this grind just puts me off the later versions. so maybe if you wanna spent a few months to get one new weapon, let alone that you more often then not need 2 weapons of the same kind to make it viable against your enemies. well, if you're mad enough to play it that much without anything new to play with and constantly getting teased to buy ♥♥♥♥. well, i won't stop you.

-An old loyal closed beta crossout player who now despises this game's business practices and will probably even say robocraft is gonna make a comeback in this genre due to the way this game's being handled.

a really cool game, not only the concept is great but ithas tons of replayability. i play this game if i need to "waste" some time, and this game can defenitly be played over and over again. and if you ever get bored just download the mods, or even make your own (easiest game to mod i know so far).

unturned is really fun to play, sure it does not have the best graphics. but it's tons of fun i really like building bases and pvping against other people, even if i don't win. also this game is updated like every few weeks, so there is always new content to explore. and even if there is not an update because something big is coming up like the last russia map update there is always the community workshop, that's what makes this game awesome it always has content to explore. also it's really fun to play with your friends, because if you survive with a group of people there is always something fun to do. but don't trust everybody because that can turn out pretty badly for you, it is a pvp game after all. and if you don't like pvp you can play pve or singleplayer, it always has something for you to do: pvping, playing singleplayer, playing arena mode, or just doing stupid things with your friends.
