Gameplay is great, performance is poopydust in cities (though playable around 30 fps with a 3080 ryzen 9 5900x). No excuse for the MTX, ignore it and it can be earned in game, and will also make your gameplay better.

I've played this game for almost 20 years, and it's the only game that keeps drawing me back, no matter what. I enjoy both versions, the nostalgia for me is a big factor. What I really enjoy about this game is just how unique it is, ranging from the large set of skills to the quests that I can't relate to any other game I've ever played. You do find yourself standing in one area for large amounts of time, but that has rendered some great conversations with people from all over the world. You are constantly progressing your character, and the quests feel rewarding. Membership is easy to pay for with in-game currency, and the boss fights are varied and progression with them is awesome. Can't recommend the game enough.
