its a great short game, not a mod really. the maps, they almost completely lack a sense of direction to get to the next one but are nonetheless amazing. the guns feel really good and strong, and the sound, i don't know if the creator had military experience but its very realistic that the incoming fire has a click/cracking sound. my main problem is the difficulty, i played on the hardest because that's how i play things, i know i was going to die but, this game turned into an impossible "dying simulator" the turrets do more than 25 damage a hit. the boss fight is probably the biggest crime, i probably was on the boss fight for 2 hours memorizing the very strict jump timing of the instant death lasers while tanking damage from vortigonts, after destroying 1 core you have to destroy the other 2 without getting ammo, meaning you got 1 shot, per core, if you dont kill the rest of the cores in time the pillars raise back up and you get gassed and instantly die, if you do manage all that, the boss makes you take damage from nowhere until you die and 1 hits you if he touches you, i honestly doubt any of the beta testers got to or finished the last level.

i cant find myself to play anymore after hours wasted from bugs and fuel that cant be gotten to. I'm personally not a big fan of timed games and I especially don't like the time based infection system this game employs, that's one of the reasons I like zombie games, because there's usually no timer and you're allowed to relax, explore, and appreciate the game,i found myself eating away at my infection bar as i tried to get the right materials for crafts and searched all buildings, i wouldn't mind if there was more batteries or the infection was much more forgiving.

its a good game with lots of potential but falls flat, early on you will realize that the only effective playstyle is horse spam, nothing else, sure there is archers and siege machines but who cares of you can just send 20 horsemen in and end any opposition.

if your're a windows users this game is not in your favor, playing full screen only allows you to play at desktop resolution and will not accept any different resolutions and also has a little better performance in windowed mode, it does not have good utilization for multi core processors and also seems to have a memory leak, after playing a game for about 30 mins the "ctf loader" windows process will start taking around 400mb of memory and stop after the current game ends, i could keep going on but those are the most devastating problems. this is a game of great potential but lacks updates, overall its still a good game.
