This is everything that Overwatch has lost sight of.
The game plays well.
The heroes make sense; so does their utilisation, play styles and powers.
You have tag-team power up mechanics that only better your games when you coordinate together.

And that's just a tl;dr.
Over 20,000,000 people see the vision that Marvel Rivals has set out, and it's proven by the near-instant queue times for games. There is NO comparison there when it comes to Overwatch. If you've been disappointed by Hero-shooter games, these guys hear you. Give it a try. It's FREE to play anyway.

I have not been able to find a single Sonic game that can feel as fulfilling as Sonic Adventure 2 for a singular reason: Chao Gardens.
My step-brother and I would literally fight over who had ownership over any new Chao egg and how to raise them, what animals to give them, skills to increase... right down to who got the tree fruit whenever they finally re-sprouted because we had so many Chaos. I ADORE this game for that much alone and always make a point to create a dark otter Chao off the bat of any new save file.
No clue why the system has since been abandoned in its modern titles, but I would wholeheartedly pay for a new sonic game with refurbished Chao Gardens implemented within it.
I will shout it from the rooftops:
BRING BACK CHAO GARDENS!

I'll be honest: This game is mostly for the nostalgia.
OGs like me who have come from GameCube and PlayStation are thrilled to have this remake. It was one of my first farming games and sparked a lot of key interests for games like it (ie. crop hybrids, male animals included for cross breeding, and choosing a spouse who then influences your child's initial interests, later swayed by how you interact with them as they grow from toddler to a full young adult).

For those who haven't played the original games, it may seem a bit bland or repetitive after a certain point as you ARE limited to a small town to traverse across your character's "Wonderful Life", but that was where some of the original charm came from for me. You grow older with the residents that you get to know, build your farm, and raise a family.

I really appreciate SoS rotating back to familiar favourites and breathing some life back into them again. I can only hope that my hands-down favorite, Animal Parade, is soon to come on the remake list!

> Boyfriend says he wants to just do his own thing and that I can donate whatever is needed for bundles/museum.
> Boyfriend is a single mom who works two jobs (caring for crops + fishing) who loves her kids (farm animals) and never stops.
> Also mistakenly donates the first dinosaur egg he dug up to the museum in one of the FEW times he stops by there.
> Cue me spotting it and telling him he could have incubated it and grown a dinosaur.
> "You can have a dinosaur?"
> Yes. You can have a dinosaur.
> "What kind of dinosaur?"
> Think: Stegosaurus, but it also breathes fire
> Bro who has always loved Jurassic Park, The Isle, and anything dino related: "Restart the day."
Wish granted.

(For the record, I've always had the "desktop" version of this game, so my "hours" are far behind when tallied by steam's account which I've had to switch to more recently. I am a day one player; more below.)

This is one of my top go-to cozy games that I would happily recommend to friends.
➼ 💎 It's FREE to play (the only things you pay for are purely cosmetic [pets, clothing, glider styles etc.] and provide no added benefits)
➼ 👥 It's multiplayer (hunt, gather, fish, cook, and collaborate home creations with your friends)
➼ ⭐ Levelling systems for those mentioned above and more (Fishing, Cooking, Gardening, Mining, Hunting, Bug Catching, Foraging, and Furniture Making, to be precise.) with weekly challenges for currency in their associated categories that can be used for rewards to boot.
➼ ❤️ There's a good handful of romance options and even more friendship rewards to work toward.
➼ 📖 An immersive storyline surrounding your sudden integration into the world as being amongst one of the "first humans" in a very long time.
And there's a lot more, but that's essentially a tl;dr in bullet points.

Take it from someone who has been playing this game since DAY ONE ALPHA. If you're looking for something new to settle into with cozy vibes, lovely music, and a comforting atmosphere, please consider Palia. It's best played on PC versus Switch (which has both cross-play and cross-progression BTW!) for the graphics if your particular system can handle it.

I remember when I first rented this game at a local video store (when those were still a thing), and I remember also thinking that I may not like it because it had such a different art-style compared to other video games at the time. I went home and started to play it, and it took me a little bit at first, but it came to be a real treasure. Okami truly is a gorgeous game and I actually have ever since fallen in love with its design and overall story. It dives into a lot of Chinese and Japanese legends for you to actually experience as Okami herself.
Yes there's the whole 30FPS thing (changing your camera view/zooming out helps a bit!), but trust me - if you love adventure, an indulging storyline, going at your own pace, exploring wide open lands for its treasures in every nook and cranny, an enticing soundtrack, and ADORE dogs, get this game and you won't be disappointed. I personally preordered this game as soon as I heard it was coming to Steam and, frame rates aside for a few points in the game, I don't regret it a bit if it means I can experience Okami all over again.

If you're looking for a game that's not based around survival and is instead wrapped around the idea of having a unique system of communication in order to meet and make new friends, figure out the best places in the map to take a huge group to benefit from, and unlock some beautiful and snazzy skins for your animal characters in an aesthetic world, then this is for you.
Do you need to purchase additional content in order to gain certain additional animals? Yes, you do. But in all honesty, for such a low price for Meadow itself, I don't have many complaints. Unless you're a completionist and absolutely need the additional characters, it's no big deal unless you run into an obelisk that requires one of them, to which you could probably ask one of your group members to switch if they have it. (But if you want to get them, now would be the time when everything is on sale and SUPER cheap.)
The community is very friendly and welcoming. I don't regret buying this game at all as it's probably come to be one of my favorites. Literally - if you're feeling lonesome, open this game, join a well-populated server (mind the ping), and find other people in the map and they will almost always automatically welcome you by saying "Hi" and search for resources together.
TL;DR - Friendly community, beautiful atmosphere, and colorful characters.

Early Access Review
So much nostalgia overload that I beat this game within 4 hours (for the main storyline/all call missions, at least). Graphics are so smooth compared to the original and I can't wait to see if they'll release the third Ty as well, seeing as that's the only one I have yet to play from my childhood. I love Bush Rescue with an intense child-like passion.
If you've played the first, definitely get the second.
