The best way a remaster of the original could have possibly been handled. It's the old game that the fans enjoyed and so much more, and if you never got to play the original, Risk of Rain Returns is a great way to experience the old game in it's new and polished remastered glory. Hoping the best for the future of this game as well as the rest of Risk of Rain.

I had a lot of hope with this game going into it, and I may not have all that much time banked into it. However, the few games I played mostly ended with me dying to some player with insane loot killing me and screaming at me over proximity chat. I don't see why new low rank players would be thrown into matches against people who have strong enough armor to be practically unkillable to the starting weapons. There is definitely a balance issue when it comes to both the weapons and the armor, and until I hear that the game gets a rework to these root mechanics, I'm walking away from it.

I downloaded a few mods. played the story until I got enough money to buy a bulldozer. hallowed out the inside of multiple planets. sold everything I collected. bought a mech that was strong enough to win the game...
maybe I should try enjoying this game like a normal person.

An amazing sequel to the first game of Mad Max! It really ties up all the loose ends in the story, and game play mechanics that are super functional and satisfying to use!
