I tried to open it, but it doesn't work. No wonder there's only a handful of boring mods. I just wanted more hirelings & to fix the game's human nerf, but no one bother to make that yet & no way to do it myself. Hopefully they improve later

best online service game for spreading democracy. the guns are fun to use. gritty tactical chaos makes the game addictive to play, which is the price of freedom. Co-op is fluent: no stagnant meet & greet areas, just crash into others' missions or get surprised when someone relieves you when your already balls deep in bug guts.

IF Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Extraction & Starfield came together & had a baby, it would be inferior to this game.

UPDATE: I would not recommend this game. IT's a scam. I've been boycotting Sony for some years by bricking my decade long account. I have to wait for them to unbrick it to play this game on steam. Don't buy this game on Steam, because it won't work. I just started playing this game this week & it's sad I'll have to retire it so soon after paying $40, but it's a scam. Worked when I bought it & I played past the return policy limit, but won't work after a week. SCAM SCAM SCAM

UPDATED UPDATE: Apparently it's all Sony's fault. Change review back to positive, even tho many regional Helldivers are still delisted in their countries. That's not an overnight fix, so we'll have to be patient for now & Arrowhead could use the positivity in the meantime. Even tho I don't trust Sony, it was cool of them to not ruin this game & instead let all Helldivers defend democracy, freely. It's important to know when to stay your hand when ♥♥♥♥♥ slapping the corpo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, otherwise they might unlearn the lesson.

Later UPDATE: Better part of a year later & all the issues have been pretty much resolved. Except the Sony thing, which is because Sony sucks. PS5 sucks. I had a decade old account & stopped playing my PS4 Pro because they bricked my account for no reason & I lost a decade worth of games. IDK if I was hacked, but Sony won't respond because their customer service is either non existent or ignores me specifically for some reason. Sony should be boycotted. They treat their customers with contempt & their products will always go downhill until they restructure & develop a philosophy for their company. In short, none of this is really Arrowhead's fault. Sony is the publisher, not Arrowhead. Arrowhead signed a contract & hopefully Sony doesn't hold Arrowhead's game back too much. Otherwise, you currently don't have to dox yourself to hackers like Sony was originally threatening to mandate. For now, Arrowhead has been working hard to make the game fun & Sony has only settled on stifling Arrowhead's player count internationally.

I remember playing this game & it was good like a decade ago, but this is only the beginning of the campaign. You can make a character I play the tutorial up until you join the Grey Wardens. If they release the rest of the game, then I bet it's good, but idk why they are charging money for a demo.

pvp halo-style combat + portal physics is fun but boring aesthetic. fast paced combat & plenty of match types & challenges to grind on

learning how to play sword & board like a gaming boomer for a shooter game. simpler but fun game

trash game. can't even get it to display in a full screen. unplayable

shorter campaign for the type of game it is. also kind of easy. it's a lot more fun on "infamous difficulty"
