As someone who didn't like half life 1 initially (It's since grown on me quite a bit, get the pitchforks down lol), I absolutely love this. It fixes alot of issues I had with the original half-life while keeping the same idea and spirit in-tact, and the additional features (the crowbar charge especially) are really fun and feel like actual additions and not just random crap thrown in for the sake of it. The new enemy placements can be a bit.. odd, like the vortigaunts showing up way before theyre actually supposed to in office complex, and the random tentacle in surface tension, but they do add something new to the experience and can be toggled off if you so wish. Overall I feel this is the ideal way to play the original hl1 for me now.

So let me get this straight. I'm somewhere that's not what I would call Black mesa.. I'm seeing freaking xenians, and, Oh yeah! I'm talking to a suit! Yeah, ok, that is something I do now. I do science. Kill jacked up aliens. I'll probably get on a train next.

this game is so cool they should make a sequel to it and have the aperture science thingy be a new character and REMOVE THE ROCKET TURRET and redesign glados and turn her into some kind of food item at some point thatd be funny i think
