The actual single player is a great game, but online is dead, broken and compromised to such a degree that it's embarrassing.
After wrestling through the awful social club to join my friend's session, we played for about five minutes before giving up.
Every single lobby is full of cheaters. You can't go one minute without your horse blowing up out of nowhere. This is proven with a simple glance at the player list in any given server. Fake rockstar employees. Impossible multicolour names and fluctuating levels. I tried reporting one, and learned that doing so crashes your game. I just laughed. And quit.
