RS3 is a very different experience to OSRS, people think the game is easy but they don't realise the game stopped caring about the leveling process and started caring about the challenge of actually having hard bosses, the game is good in its own right and should not be compared to that of old school.

Temtem is Pokemon. But Temtem actually feels like a Pokemon game, where as Pokemon feels like utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :)

Do not let the positive reviews fool you. This game in its current state is not worth the price tag attached to it, most of the core features that made cube world what it was have been replaced with features that do their job in a much more randomised and unenjoyable way. Levelling and progressing through a skill tree through grinding mobs has now been replaced with crossing your fingers for a piece of gear, which has to be for your class, in the right gear slot and then have a + at the end. If the + isn't present then you're going to hate the game after your first zone as your gear will be unusable along with everything else you have collected in the last 2-10 hours. You may argue that you are rewarded an 'Artifact' but at the end of the day the bonus that you receive from that is completely pointless. In my time playing i had improved glider speed and swim speed which I found myself never using as there wasn't much point to go into the water and the glider was gated off by a Purple creature which i had to almost complete the zone to have the gear required to kill it, and once I received it, it was time to enter a new zone and start over again.

Progressing through this game felt like I was creating my character over and over again as I enter new zones and instantly filled me with boredom on zone 3. The game honestly feels like a 2-10 hour long Zelda game, with terrible balancing and pacing, which you are forced to replay 10 times to feel as you have gotten value for your money.

Even though I bought the game in alpha and have been keeping my eye on the game for over 6 years I would not recommend anyone to give the developers more money until they start listening to what people have to say. Do not waste your time on this game.



Note to developers:

Wollay and Pixie, the community want to love the game alongside you but as soon as you add monetization to your passion project you need to take the community into account instead of putting up a wall and blocking them out. Creating a game that is suited around everything you want is fine if there is a free tag on the game, but charging upwards of £18 for a game that people have no input on will never work. The game has been developed in such secrecy after you took money from us 6 years ago that it has started to feel like a completely different game to what we played back then. The community is here to help you not hate you, so start listening to what everyone wants and take it into consideration

Game for people with receeding hairlines and cheese fetishes, I know this since I have a friend with there exact traits. If you want this to now be you don't play. But I want these traits as they keep me moose and give me nice thoughts and a future to look forward to :)
