For me as a Warhammer and Total war fan i had really big hopes for this game i got well this game.

Pros
+ each of the for factions is balanced, has a unique play stile, and you better play them as you lore wise should or you have a big problem (dwarves are good in defence, orcs well just burn everything)
+ magic and heroes are good but not op you still need a good army
+gameplay it works and the AI is a lot smarter than before for example chaos hordes will sneak around and attack and corrupt your weakest spots
Cons
- diplomacy you thought chaos is the biggest threat to the old world no it´s YOU because you conquered Averland or freed the Badlands of greenskins. Because after you conquered a certain amount of provinces you will be "too powerful" and EVERYBODY HATES YOU LIKE ♥♥♥♥ even if chaos is right next to them and you are on the other side of the map
- the game feels really unfinished for example every human nation outside bretonnia has empire untis and buildings and will even talk about the arch lector also a lot of units are still missing
- sieges are well a little bit boring

Pros/Cons depends what type of player you are
+/- difficulty has increased a lot in prior total war games other factions simply got more money now they get more leadership and public order ( wich means nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ about chaos coruuption but you will get it double). On very hard or legendary orc boyz have for example way better moral ans are stronger in combat then dwarf warriors, and ranged units will tear your army apart like paper oh and PRAY TO ALL GODS THAT THEY DON´T BRING IN BLACKRORCS OR CHAOS KINGHTS
+/- the campaign plays like warhammer lorwise should not like total war wich means as dwarfs or empire it´s a lot about surviving and rebuilding villages you dream of conquering the world well play on easy or be very very patient and don´t dream much about getting many hightech units because you will need quantity more then quality
+/- if you are playing as dwarfs the book grudges will really piss you off ( kemmler stayed for round near zufbar grudge, an hero attacked a godamn village in nowhere grudge)
