i think this game has some really good potential, but currently, the A.I. for settlers is pretty bad. its missing what i call common sense. what i mean by that is, the person in charge of cooking, wont go to the meat rack and cook the food, but they'll grab it if its laying on the floor. another thing is the banner system for your people to get resources. i think its a cool idea to mark where you want them to go, but with nothing re-spawning, and rock formations being so far apart, if you want your settlement to be self sufficient, you'd have to place banners EVERYWHERE and pray they don't get killed. i think the grind for resources is pretty bad, mainly cause how long it take to make things, but it'd benefit if the resources where either easier to obtain or they re-pawned in some sort of way. like i said in the beginning, it has potential, its in early access, and the devs are updating it regularly. id say if you like settlement building and survival games get it, but as of right now the A.I. is frustrating and the grind is long

i took a break from this game like 2 months ago cause it was the same repeat thing over and over. im glad to say im back in it and love it more than ever thanks to the new updates

i have too many hours on this game. don't buy it expecting the vanilla game to be hours of fun. its just gonna be low budget battlefield conquest. the mods and community make this game. tons of settings to choose from when creating a match
