I was excited to try this but the game is not playable. It crashed on my first attempt to launch it. Fine, no big deal. Rebooted my computer just to make sure everything was sitting right after install. Tried again and got in. Took a bit to load in all the textures, whatever, my gaming laptop is mid-tier, so I lowered all the graphics options to medium. Looks pretty rough now but that's fine, as long as the gameplay and story are good I don't really care. Next I found out I can't interact with anything. Go in to keybindings and they're all empty. Ok...weird that I have to set all my own keybindings but whatever. Set them all. Exit the menu and still cant interact with anything. Go back to keybindings and they've all been changed to what I'm assuming the defaults were supposed to be. Annoying, but ok, no problem. Except on screen it still just says "None to pick up bottle" and "None to open door" and I still can't interact with anything. Changing the key bindings doesn't work. I'm definitely returning the game and will try again when it is released in full. Right now the game is not playable for me at all.

I really like this game. It was difficult at first because of how insanely fast you start to freeze. But after I got the mechanics down I really enjoyed this. Super creepy, especially when I got turned around and got lost (invest in trail markers early. Like make dozens of them, I'm telling you.) All in all good story, excellent atmosphere, and no bugs (for me anyway).

I've never loved and hated a game so much. I've been playing it since 2011 and the fact that Bethesda has allowed such an epic game to crumble into such a horrid buggy mess while at the same time capitalizing and profiting off the backs of fans who love this game so much they create mods to fix and improve it and make it playable FOR FREE fills me with rage. I hate that Bethesda got almost $80 from me THREE times because I bought this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abomination for three different platforms - and gives none of that back, not even credit - to the fans that keep this game running and enjoyable and beautiful. ♥♥♥♥ Bethesda, but definitely try to get this game either steeply discounted or try to pirate it for free somewhere.

Cute little game with lovely art style. I've played about 20-25 hours. Would definitely recommend. It's satisfying and chill. The music is really great but I wish there was more variety, it gets a bit repetative and grating after a while but you can always turn it off.

This game has some infuriating mechanics. You can't stop over a log or train tracks and have to walk around them, but you can 'salvage' an iron pry bar with your bare hands and turn it into scrap metal.

Perma death is not an option. If you die your save is gone. Absolutely HATE this. Perma death should be an option.

A slight breeze will cut your walking speed in half.

If you take the time to draw out a decent map, you cant really use it. There is no marker to show your location on it and the drawings don't show enough detail to make navigating it possible.

You can't rest without a bedroll or bed. Example, I narrowly escaped hypothermia by reaching a house but it was dark and I spawned without matches and without a bedroll. I couldn't see anything in the dark house and had no bedroll to put on the ground so I stood there in the dark and died of exhaustion before the sun could rise so I could see and find the bed.

Starting a fire, in a house, in a wood stove, with a stack of dry papers, a box of matches, and tinder, fails just as often as starting one outside with a magnifying glass.

After 100 hours, these mechanics have really started to ruin the game for me. However, I'd still recommend it since I got over 100 hours of out it before it started to piss me off.

This game is awesome. Cool story, doesn't hold your hand too much in terms of what to do next, so you have to actually review your journal to decide where to go next. Visually it's really pretty. Has some suspenseful moments and some basic elements of survival like exposure and sanity.

Just a really nice game.

Cute and creepy little game with a neat story. About 1.5 hrs play time. Little plot twist at the end.

Its not a bad game. It starts out slow and then picks up later on. Some parts were actually super creepy. But the last chapter was so frustrating, irritating and tedious that it ruined the rest of the game for me. I eventually had to look up a walkthru to finish it.

Was pretty cool. The only thing I didn't like was the raids at night are completely random and you cant do anything to stop them. Boarding up the windows and putting out guards doesn't seem to do much so every other night coming back with a few meager supplies to find out you'd been raided - again - got kind of annoying. Maybe I didn't play it long enough tho. I didn't craft any guns so that might make a difference.

Really wish I could play the game but I can't even launch it. Its just an endless cycle of validating your email and 'finishing' registration. I've gotten the "Thanks for registering!" pop up like eight ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times. And yet when I try to launch the game it immediately boots me out of the log in screen with another pop up insisting that I finish my registration. SO. FRUSTRATING.
