Honestly I can see a really bright future for this game, unique artstyle, unique mechanics, frostpunk style survival with its own twist. its a beutifull game in the works but it is worth establishing the issues, Il try to avoid personal ones and moreso ones I noticed while playing.
First one: its unclear what removes or adds stability, sometimes a platform connected to a wall can go 7 blocks out, sometimes only 3 before collapsing game doesent make it verry clear why and sometimes can ruin base plans
Second: research feels mostly unnessesary, most of the items you can research are a like 10% improvment for double the workforce, a majority of the time researching future items isent worth it because they have some blaring downside, like what the christ is the point of the junk boiler.
Third: events, for how few resources you are given throughout a run, events chew through atleast tripple that as more times then not events expect around 80-100 of some resources (type varrys) just to get something tiny in return like +1 loyalty wich youl immediatly loose in a random event that you couldent afford to resolve or like, 100 food and water for 2 dudes.

I bred a dog larger then a nuclear barrel, taught it canablism and let it eat every other dog. 11/3

I got raided on my 15th day by 6 mutants, they destroyed half my base, dident leave after I hid, another raid started not 30 minutes later this time canibals that I fought off while still being chased by the mutants, then despite wearing three units of creep armor got two shot by one of the mutants (spider) and died. my last save was two hours ago cuz I spent the entire time chopping tree's, this game feels skill based but then theres just whatever the hell this is ruins all of that.

This game likes to gaslight to an unreasonable degree.

I honestly feel like this is a fantastic step forward from the original frostpunk, having such a massive scale and new designs for things feels fantastic. I do hope the devs have future plans for the game like they did with the original since having one senario is limiting, showing by the fact iv pretty much played the whole game already xd. (with multiple failed attempts btw)
ofcourse doesent have to be as indepths or long as the main story, just like the original but something additional to toy around with would be the cherry ontop of the completely frozen solid cake.

Even Despite the fact the games barely finished with only 4 chapters total avalible, it is still by far one of the most balenced and fun survival games iv ever played, it never feels like theres something you cannot do and it just keeps getting better with every update!
(If your playing solo, just remember your not alone, literly. There is something else in the facility with you even in single player)

similar to my borderlands* 2 review exept debaitably funnyer and less grindy, two things everyone wanted.

90% of the game you have to pay for, I dont mean "oh it takes awhile" I mean the enemy tanks are literly imortal because of PTW

Unfortunately, Im going to have to not recommend this game after about 100 hours, as much as this game does make you feel great theres alot, and I mean alot of annoyances, game crashes often, theres a mountain of bugs, theres no real advantage to just not killing everyone making half the game just flatout worthless to alot of longtime players, it feels rather unbalanced as sometimes weapon feel like there preaty lethal, other times a fiend is a bullet sponge for .308. Alot of the characters are unlikable with only afew exceptions and the dlc's OH MY GOD THE DLC'S ARE HORRIBLE, half of them force you to do things you dont want to for the sake of plot convenience, im talking lonesome road, bloodmoney, old world blues, ext. I think iv honestly have more negatives about this game then positives, I will say it has its moments were it is verry satisfying like finding different ways to kill Benny, burning legion fort to the ground, watching the boomers obliterate the enemy ext, but iv had much more displeasure then pleasure. I wish I was joking when I said my favorite part of this game is being able to F### Benny....
I will say it could be worth your time and this game defedently has those moments and has those characters, but it simply has much more negatives then positives, By the way yes I tried every ending and explored asmuch as possible, unfortunately I did not want to play anymore after the dlc's as they just put me in immense pain

Dev's keep trying to kick half there playerbase off the platform.
Casual worlds are filled with nolife erp's or fake couples.
Game worlds are stuffed with tryhards.
Only afew people on this platform actualy know how to chat and have fun, for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chatting game :I
(no seriously, thats like playing DRG as a pvp game, how do you ♥♥♥♥ up that badly)
