Yeah, it's alright. Spent a bit of time playing it.

Can't find food. Help.

At the moment the game is not at its finest. But I do recommend getting it as there will be a cool new map being released on the game with new items, and a new building system and much more. If you have loads of patience for collecting everything just for one raid this is your game.

With the recent update the game has not been improved by much. Daybreak have stated that they have fixed the pattern on the shotgun to make it more consistant, as well as the damage to relay on it further. None of these are true as you can still survive a shotgun shot to the head from point blank range.

Things that have improved this season:
The new AR-15 recoil is definetly an improvement, but they have given it 0 recoil which means that now anyone cant 2 tap. Especially when there is barely any bullet drop, this then allows new commers to spam the gun and get to straight shots, there is no skill gap.

The colors of the game have finally gotten brighter and better, last season the colors were depressing and harder to spot somebody.

Current Issues:
Dsync and lag within the servers. The servers of the game are horrible. I have constantly been shot behind a wall while taking cover. This makes close range fights even worse, as you will shoot someone at the same distance with a shotgun yet either one of you will be victorious.

Kills not counting;
On two seperate occasions, the kills towards my teammate did not count. He got 2 kills in early game (This was in fives) we stay till the end and a car rushes us. He gains another 2 kills, then when he dies, on the side where kills shows it says "1 kill". Then when our last teammate fell in fives and we lost the game, his end kills were 4. The recent was in duos. We rushed a cop car got 2 kills, we continued to another area, and got i got 2 kills this time. While we were looting we got shot in the back and my friend killed someone rushing him. I was low at the time healing. The other guy then rushes us and i die. This should leave me at 2 kills and my friend at 4 (He killed the guy that killed me). But in the end he got 3 kills.

Long range fights dont exist: People constantly cod rush (Including myself), because it is the only way to get certain kills. If you are in a long range fight with cars, then you will shoot him 3 times, then he runs only to never see him again. The game starts with 150 players and by the time the gas starts spreading there is only 75 players left. If you spend your time chasing people, by the time you kill them, there will be 20 players remaining. In the end you will end up with a game of 5-8 kills if you are extremely aggresive at the end. Point being that most of the fighting happens during early game, mid game to late game if you engage in a fight you will 75% of the time get pinched by someone from the back.

I will not compare this to PUBG, as I have not played it. I do recommend the game, however you will get mad from playing it. Although if you are thinking about playing it, you should play it now while there are still players on it. The numbers are decreasing because daybreak isnt doing much to fix the current issues.

This game is amazing to play with friends. If you all work together and play on a server for some time its pretty easy to get stuff and start raiding. Although it isnt much fun by playing alone as you will easily get raided and die quiet often in Rust.

I really like this game because of the multiplayer so now you can actually survive with your friends and other people
