Fantastic story, vibrant world, and fun gameplay. I have played all three Witcher games and this series never fails to impress.

The game is substantial, mechanically polished, and visually beautiful.
I had an issue with a corrupted save file 10 hours into the game, so back up your save every hour or so.

"Time is money"
That's what one player said to me after we wiped on a boss a couple times in a dungeon. He then left the group.
But why did we wipe? These dungeons (which the game calls fractals) have an unavoidable damage over time mechanic called agony, and the only way to survive the mechanic is with agony resistance. It takes a long time to acquire the required gear to increase your agony resistance. Had this mechanic not existed, a player could clear the most difficult fractal moments after purchasing the game and boosting a new character.

That really sums up what Guild Wars 2 is about. It is an easy game. Very easy. But artificial difficulties are added to pad out your playtime.

The artificiality is so deeply ingrained, the game asks you to pay 300 gold for an icon. Without this icon, you cannot start a raid group that people will want to join, as the raid group has no leader. There is nothing stopping the developers from simply designating the leader of a group as the person who started the group. But no. Instead we have a sort of pseudo class structure, where the haves will lord and control the have-nots, and there is nothing you can do about it except spend that gold for your own icon.

This is a game of walls. And the gameplay is not that different after you have overcome each wall. The most challenging content, PvP, is available to level 1 characters. Everything else is easy, and usually takes a really really long time.

One final note: this game has a massive amount of inventory items. You will be swamped with items. To the point of having to spend what will accumulate to hours of your time merely organizing your bags and bank.

"Time is money"
So says the player that has put thousands of hours into this game. Elitism is all he has left.

It's very fun expect when you forget to water some of your crops and everything gets messed up.
In the first spring of the game, fishing and mining are far more important than farming. The fishing can be a bit boring, and the mining a bit frustrating due to RNG. And this is all made more difficult by energy limiting how much you can do in a day. On top of this, your time is limited: You have about 20 minutes to work every day before you are forced to go to sleep. But when you finish the first spring and you have sprinklers up, the game really opens up. The further you progress, the more the focus shifts towards decorating and making massive amounts of money rather than fighting against the clock and the energy bar.
You will often be pausing and taking time to think about what you are going to do next, It requires skill, and it is satisfying when you do everything well. But when you mess up it can get frustrating.

It is difficulty for me to recommend a game that takes advantage of its players to the deplorable extent that we have here. The game has suffered from a lack of content, questionable design choices, boring and uninspired presentation, and abhorrent online lag problems.
What adds insult to injury, is that Capcom are now asking for even more money from the fans who already purchased the game and much of its DLC.
The only thing I now feel about this game is regret for having purchased it. I wish I could have a refund, but that is not an option.
My hope is that Capcom's reputation is hurt by the release of this game, and that players will not be so quick to give them money for future releases. Until Capcom starts respecting the fans, and the time and money they put into the game.
