Ok, so, I've played this game over and over again just impressed with how utterly simple but brilliant it is as such a genuine approach to horror and survival. Although not a popular opinion, I do believe this is the superior game compared to DS2; from the very art design of the necromorphs and the claustrophobic layout of the environments, to the loud and frenetic soundtrack that you grow to dread everytime an area goes to quarantine lockdown.

The story is certainly well thought out, but is not complex as to become overwhelming, yet you certainly can entertain yourself with the massive lore that's behind this game. The gameplay is smooth and rewarding once you overcome the problems that this port has regarding mouse sensitivity and delay.

This game is a must have for any horror/survival enthusiast, I'd always recommend it to anyone. It's still sad how EA murdered the essence of the franchise.
