Yes it's harder than the base game, but this isn't something impossible to do, yes there are some problems with performance even on high end PC's, but this is easily some of the best content in terms of level design, equipment design, lore and world building, i've ever seen.
I'm not a particularly good player but i can beat it without extreme character min-maxing, just be a little bit flexible with your build to have different tools for different situations. This is supposed to be very hard, it's the ultimative challenge and peak of Elden Ring. Fromsoftware can't just make it easier so people can breeze through it quicker than the base game.
Fromsoftware took (over) 2 years to make this, there are no plans for different DLC as of now. This is the End. And it's glorious.

All time, unbeatable modding classic

This is easily the most consumer unfriendly game i played in my entire life.

Unbearable economic changes basically ruin this game for everyone who isnt a whale willing to spend half of their disposable income on this game. Couple that with the insane br compression that ruins top tier gameplay, especially aircraft, as they are extremely reliant on their technological capabilities making it impossible to have fun, as you just cant keep up with the higher br planes that you are matched against. Not implementing many important aspects of aircraft such as electronic countermeasures, external flare/chaff dispensers on many planes that historically were able to carry them, many 2nd generation jet fighters such as the F106 or the Su15 and some terrible gameplay aspects such as some aircraft having their historical g-limit implemented while many others are able to pull maneuvers straight from ACE combat. This high-nonsense attitude of the developer is a fool-proof recipe for ruining a gaming experience.

I really wanted to enjoy this, i also spent a bit of money on the game, but Gaijin is always trying their best to push the limit of what they can get away with, a attitude all too popular in the game development industry as of quite a few years now, instead of trying to make the game more successful by making it more player friendly, more enjoyable to play and make players spend money because they want to support the game and the developer team behind it,

10/10 experience, great story, great world and (mostly) good bosses.
3/10 multiplayer, spell spammers and rivers of blood users still maidenless. Also horrid server connection.

fallout 3 sucks balls

In typical fashion, obsidian didn't manage to finish this masterpiece in 14 months of development, but the resotred content mod solves all of this and enables the player to experience the full game as intended.

Amazing XCOM-style game. I wish we would get more awesome 40k Games
