Before getting started, I have well over 100 hours on Helldivers 2 on PlayStation, lv. 58 and I have a few topics that I want to talk about.

First of all, the game itself is amazing, other live-service games should take notes from AH. So if the game is amazing, why the negative score? The whole Sony fiasco? No, because of all the *BALACING ISSUES* of the guns.

To explain it further, every month or so, a new Warbond (a mini permanent battlepass) is released, which contains new armor, victory poses and weapons. Out of all the 3 or 4 weapons that are included in a Warbond, only one of them is reliable enough for you to take it on the mission, and it feels good, it’s fun, it feel powerful but not too OP. And the devs start nerfing the hell out of that weapon when the new Warbond is releasing.

So if almost every weapon feels like it’s underperforming and those good enough are getting nerfed to the point where they become barely usable, then what is even the point of grinding the Warbond and getting the new weapons? Just so you can use them for a few days?

The developers said you should rely on stratagems on higher difficulties, and I get that, but they are called *PRIMARY WEAPONS* for a reason, they should be your primary damage output dealt to enemies. They lose the fun factor. This is a PvE game, not PvP. The balancing is too harsh.

To do a little recap
-*new Warbond is released*
-you grind super credits or directly buy the Warbond
-you grind to unlock the new weapons
-only one weapon feels good enough to use
-*new Warbond is announced*
-the decent weapon gets nerfed so you need to get the new ones
-repeat

There are also a lot of minor issues, such as the requisition cap, it would be nice to transform them into xp or medals, or have something to do with them, same with common samples. I almost have every ship module to their max level and constantly have 500 common samples. A good idea would be to convert some of them into rare samples.

I will change my review once they improve their balancing approach and take into account the fun factor of the game. Until then, it will stay as it is.
