So far, so good. Really good looking remake, controls and driving are fun. No major glitches yet or bugs but ive just only finished the race.

Overall im pretty happy, one thing to note though: German voice actors are terrible compared to the original english actors so id recommend keeping it english.

Story feels well thought out so far and im enjoying the ride. Will keep this updated.

PS: Performance is not really good, highest settings 1440p with 2070 gives you around *65fps average. Rarely drops below 60.

4k average fps around 40.

Do not buy if you dont like wasting your money.

So after over a year of playing once in a while and seeing the nonexisting progress (after their latest update which was miniscule in content) i feel like writing a review.

Overall its an average shooter game - but especially compared to its predecessor "Insurgency" the game has its shortcomings. Frist off i want to say that the map reworks dont really deliver what i was hoping for as the DEVs sadly didnt manage to rework their Dome-Of-Death System and the inevitable spawnkilling that results from it.

Then theres the fact that some other issues were implemented into this "realistic" tactical shooter that just simply have no place in the genre, like AI-Operated Helicopter Gunships COD-Style or their miserable implementation of player operated assets which you will rarely if ever come across in the game due to their uselessness.

Then the game is crippled with tons of bugs, both visually and mechanically. The fps is quite low for whats supposed to be a competitive game even on highend systems and the lowest "competitive" settings, framedrops are a big issue (even though theres even a frame smoothing feature in the game that probably doesnt work as good as intended).

Cheaters are a big issue aswell as there is no more Battleye for this game (unlike Insurgency 1), players with websites as their names, cheating and advertising for their services are very common to come across and overall nothing is done about it - or could technically be done by the community as there are no admins on official servers - all the while the few community servers remain dead except for some rare events.

Overall, for 30 Euros i absolutely cannot recommend this game and i dont see it surviving for a long time given the poor amount of content and bugfixes that has been shipped out since its release. In my opinion, this is a cash grab.

Wether its worth your money is up to you, but i would not buy it again.
