The SS PoonSlayer and her crew sunk nearly 50 ships with a flawless record. She never went down in all those battles. We had some close calls, but always made it in the end. Then we got hit by a surprise blight storm between islands out of no where. All those fights, all those hours, all the close calls, and what sank our ship was this autistic clean-up mechanic. Would not have been mad if we lost in a fight. At least then we would've had a chance. The game is damn near perfect in all other ways; it is very, very fun. But the "Blight"... Absolutely a game ruining mechanic if you get caught in the wrong moment. It takes hours and hours of work and flushes it down the toilet because the devs are either to lazy or stupid to make a decent clean-up mechanic. Wouldn't reccomend until it gets fixed. Not worth the frustration.

They added in a new feature recently that prevents you from playing the game until you pledge your soul to the People's Republic of China. Also, don't even think about typing a bad word, or anything remotely close to a profane word or you'll get perma-banned. This is understandable though because this is a game clearly meant for young children and not adults.

Overall it's pretty good and has great potential. There's a lot of bugs as of now, however. Things like structures teleporting (and then sometimes after reloading, but not always, teleporting back to it's original location), stuff disappearing all together to never return, and for some reason turtle shells can't be collected right now. I haven't encountered this before, but rip getting clean water. It's most fun in multiplayer, in my opinion.
