Alright Ill begin with this. I BOUGHT THE STARTER EDITION of this game. At the time of writing this review I am at 215 hours. All the horror stories of this edition could be true with the wrong mindset. Starter one is fine if you like learning operatives inside and out. Example for me, I like to have a good understanding of a character before moving on to another. So by the time you save up enough in-game currency for a new operative you have an extensive amount of play-time in a selected character, both for attack and defense. If you go in with the mindset of learning operatives and being more than mediocre having all the characters right away then the starter version of the game is not half bad. I found this to be a nice experience and it taught me more over the course of playing than what I have now. For the new Operatives I ended up buying the full version of the game. Because after 200+ hours I can conclude that its worth the investment. I have over 100k renown and I have accumulated more than double that while playing. Just because its slower unlocks shouldnt deter people from getting their foot in the door. For me I was unlocking 15k to 25k renown operatives every 4 to 5 days. Playing 3 to 4 hours a day and winning 70% of the games played and doing daily challenges. Great game very skilled community even on casual matches.
