The main thing about this game that caught my attention was the ability to possess different animals, but when you get to play it, there is more to it than just changing appearances to wander around. Shortly saying, the story is great, the visuals are fantastic and the pacing changes all the time from lazy exploration to running for your life (-you stil die- just kidding).
The only two negatives I could notice are:
1. Sometimes it's very easy to get stuck somewhere trying to find your way to the objective or secrets;
2. The "big plot twist" of the game was extremely predictable and can be guessed after the main conflict is introduced.
Lost Ember heavily reminded me of ABZU and Journey, some of the finest visual adventures imho. Definitely recommend to play this, if not for the story, then for the stunning surroundings.

The game, or well, the concept, has a potential. You get to play as a strong and dangerous creature such as dragon, but there is very little to do in the game. The models and animations look rather pretty, but the controls are slightly inconvenient for the combat and the world feels empty.
Overall, for the price the game asks(I also got it on sale for as much as 20 cents in my country, which is nothing), you don't expect more than the game has to offer. If the development team would continue working on their project, it could become a better experience for sure.
I'd recommend this game only for the sake of short fun, unless it gets updated.
