It's ok

I've mainly played this game elsewhere, but I have it on steam so I guess I'll write a review here. I love this game, a lot. For me, I remember growing up, watching every piece of content nasa put out into the world, I would spend hours watching documentaries about space and the universe, about other planets and our solar system. This game does not show me all of that, and in some places, yes, it is lacking, but the feeling of being the first explorer on a planet, or walking somewhere no one else has been for years, seeing foreign places and interacting with the flora and fauna of that place, it is wonderful for me. Are the planets kinda empty? Yes, and to repeat the meme, most planets in our solar system ARE empty. The sense of scale, of wonder, and of seeing these new planets are amazing, and the sound design really brings me into the experience, with the sound of dirt under my boots, of the breeze on windy planets with atmospheres, of the quiet beeping and shifting of my spaceship as I go through space, utterly alone and dwarfed by the shear size of what is implied to be in front of me. For me, I GET what the game is trying to go for and I love it. That said, if you didn't grow up with the same kind of love for the cosmos and without being excited about space and the universe, if you want more to do than explore empty remnants of the people who came before you, the game won't be for you. The great thing about the game (other than the quests, which I think are in line for a Bethesda game) is the sense of wonder and exploration, of walking these huge landscapes and seeing what other planets might look like. If you want super heavy questing, if you want a star wars space opera experience, if you want skyrim/fallout but in space, this isn't really for you, and personally I think that's fine, but I understand the hate the game gets, and I understand the disappointment if that was what you were expecting starfield to be. I think the game is cool for being the KIND of game it is, and I have fun exploring the planets, and for me that experience is enough.

It's ok

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing

Uninstall button works. In this glitchfest, thats about all that does. The game is laughably easy even on the hardest difficulty, and it looks and plays so clunky that i wonder if any development time was put into it. I went into this with low expectations, as this is a free game, but this POS still somehow managed to dissapoint.

-Animations reused Ad Nausium, even when models don't suit them
-Sound is looped and repetitive, walking is just painful with the plopping sound
-UI could be better designed by a monkey slamming his ♥♥♥♥ on a keyboard
-Laughably easy due to slow animations by enemies and doing waaay too much damage
-Models are clearly haphazardly clipped, probably bought from unity store, and mashed together to make the asthetics awful
-Generally unfun and uninteresting
All in all, it's free. Thats the only thing going for it but I wouldn't waste the time on it.

Honestly a great experience. Best mmo I have ever played, and it FEELS like the older elder scrolls games
