I am definitely what I consider a POE vet. I literally purchased my very first gaming PC so I could play POE all those years ago. I have the Open Beta supporter badge for goodness-sake. I have a lot of playtime, so when I say POE2 was announced, I was ecstatic. However, in it's current state, it just isn't fun. They changed so much, downgraded a lot of things (portals for maps) just for starters. The graphics are insane, but as it stands, the game just straight up isn't fun. I do not recommend it, I would just tell someone to play poe1 tbh. This does make me sad because I did spend money on it and now I feel at a loss since I have ABSOLUTELY zero desire to play the game. I have been having quite a lot of fun with this game. I can say it is enjoyable, I wish it was multiplayer though. Maybe in the future. It does need some balancing though.
The Ak is garbage compared to the ar. The damage should be way higher.
There (at least as far as I am at) seems to be nothing that auto collects the drops like the auto collection of exp
Having a build that drops your frame-rate ACTUALLY drops your dps as well. This is huge rip. Pretty big negative.
Collection range is so useless, its almost too useless to upgrade. The starting range is abysmal.

As far as I am, I don't know if you can refresh drops from the pod. Will update if this is or isn't the case. *** There is this feature, however it is quite limited***

With the blemishes, I would still get this game as it is really fun. Just some things need real tweaking. If the dev sees this and if there is a way I could help, I would be down.

Honestly? Its like polishing a poop or painting a garbage can, you still have poop or you still have a garbage can. I completed 2 missions yesterday and got a whopping 0 experience for my character and only experience for my weapons (I didn't use since I was stealth). I cannot fathom why they would make it so you only gain experience from those challenges...especially when so many are combat (going loud) focused. I am REALLY trying to like the game, and yet it is more of a slog and a drain to play in its current state. I regret spending the money on it, especially the extra to play a few days early. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING PD3 RIGHT NOW. Its more frustrating and disappointing than fun.

Absolutely one of my favorite games to date. The reason it is so fun is that you can easily go from crushing the competition to getting pooped on. This leads to some great highs and some low lows. But overall its freaking great. My only complaint is that when you're playing with a friend in duo matchmaking they decide to give your "combined rank" a major boost. Sometimes it gives you a ton of ranking! As a queued up plat 1/diamond 4 we got put against expert 4's . Which was wild . other than that it is an amazing game.

130 Hours on record at this point, and I FREAKING LOVE THE EFFFFF out of it. It truly is a very rewarding rogue-lite. Grab some frondz, shoot some gonz, and upgrade for the win. Even though I HATE the bird boss, its still such an excellent game. 1000000000 out of 10. Recommend all day every day. I got it for a few friends, and I would get it for more if I had any. Truly this game is worth every single penny.

It is pretty fun. HOWEVER, there is no ultra-wide screen support? 3440x1440 gives me an extremely large amount of black screen of sadness on either side. Also, the only controller support/ configuration is xbox...why not have playstaion and so on and so forth. The combat is fun, but the story is extremely lack luster, you're better off skipping all the scenes rather than trying to get confused at the story.

Also, the coop system is absolutely bonkers. WHY isn't there an in game invite/party system? Or preloading screen where players join, pick their characters, and then play? I figured that would have been one of the most rudimentary systems in any coop based game. Hero Seige has a better coop/party mechanic for goodness sakes.

But once you get past that, get past the disconnection issues, the bugs, the lag, the obnoxious difficulty scaling, and the dsync, its a fun game.

Hopefully in the coming months/ patches the game will be a lot smoother and better overall. I'm hoping for a revamp like No Man's Sky.

If you owned Risk of Rain 1, just get it.
If it is raining outside or there is a chance(risk) of precipitation(rain), just get it.
If you are stuck inside due to self, state, or government imposed quarantine, just get it.
If you have no other game to play, just get it.

10/10 would offer to the shrine of chance to get nothing.

This game is actually a lot of fun, however, in its current state it is very unplayable if you are playing co-op. The desync issues make the game unstable, unplayable, and a chore. I do believe the devs are working on a fix, and when it becomes more stable I am truly looking forward to playing it a lot more. But as it stands, I am sad I spent $20 of my quarantine monies on this as I can't actually enjoy it in the slightest. The nearly 3 hours of gameplay I have were an absolute chore. I look forward to a patch and a fix. I will absolutely change the review once I can get through more than 2 levels before getting hit to death by the desync gods.

This is absolutly one of my all time favorite games. As you can tell I have almost 400 hours of game play, it trule is one of the most replayable games you can get. With so many ways to build a deck, to survive, to die, to choose. I have never played card games, I never played Magic, or any other varioation of a card game. But this game is just so incredible, if it was avaliable on the phone, I would most definitely play it in my owntime.

15/10 would choose 1 health for first 3 rooms.
