Unfortunately it's not available through Steam, but installation is simple and especially fast considering that the stock game is less than 400MB.
Watch their official trailers on their website before buying if you want to get a peek at what it's like. However, I would caution against going to other platforms for content covering the game to avoid spoilers. The game is story driven and has a hefty lore component to it, so going in as blind as possible is better than the alternative.
