This is one of, if not my favorite video game of all time.
tl;dr, this game has a amazing story, unique and interesting world and setting, alongside a combat system and gameplay that feel truly unique and fair yet brutally challenging.


There's so much to unpack with this one game it's hard to describe. This game feels like a journey. For one I highly highly recommend playing Lobotomy Corp first or at least seeing someone else play it. This game is does amazing service to people who played the first game and made me giddy to see how it built on the characters and world setup in Lobotomy Corp. Speaking of, this setting and world of this game are truly like no other. Every ounce of world building you're given feels like a feast you've never tasted before, Project Moon have created something that feels so wholly unique and interesting that you can't help but feel invested.

This game feels two parts. Both parts highly engaging and interesting to the end. One is the gameplay, the other is the story. The game separates itself quite equally between moments of visual novel style reading similar to Lobotomy Corp and highly deep engaging combat. Not only is the story extremely intriguing and keeps you invested but it further motivates you to push forward. Although the gameplay enough could honestly motivate you given how unique and fun it is. I don't think I've ever played a game with combat like this, it feels like they took a mix of 7 different genres and mashed them into something that somehow works. I could describe it as a "deck builder card game dice roll turned based RPG" but it doesn't really fit into anything cleanly. The gameplay and combat is insanely in depth with many subsystems and mechanics that are slowly introduced to you and add incredible depth to how you approach every encounter. This game is indeed very challenging however I also believe to be incredibly fair. The games balance feels perfect and it never feels like the games fault. Every fight is meticulously designed to test you and make you think. As difficult as things may seem you can always overcome them and it feels amazing when you do, nothing beast that sense of overcoming a difficult challenge like in this game.

This game is a one of a kind experience. Something I recommend to anyone this sounds interesting to. It tests you, keeps you invested, and tells a amazing story along the way.
