I think this is the worst part of Darksiders franchise.
The biggest problem is they changed the style of game play you had in first two part like:
No mini map, no guidance for battles or how to do stuff...
Dont get fooled you are not getting another open world game like Darksiders 2, you are mostly stuck on story mode.
The biggest disappointment is mini map, you cant find artifacts, you get lost all the time and the only way to navigate is sort of a compass but it only shows you where the boss fight is and its not showing you any directions.
No open world game play like in Darksiders 2.
Not to mention 5 forms you have to play its annoying.
Story is kinda okey but still not getting the point...
If you are playing Darksiders for the first time better get the first or the second part its much more fun than this.
Not recommend.
