So far a huge leap into a direction that was unexpected but surprisingly very interesting. Controls are a bit clunky buy it was expected since I played a console game with a keyboard and mouse. Story progresses at a nice pace with plenty of side tasks to accomplish.

In short, what a great game. Between gliding down the dunes of a desert to climbing a Ferris wheel in an Amusement Park. Nier takes you somewhere you never expect. With a storyline so impactful and fleshed out with a few nods to the original, I could hardly contain my excitement when I completed a storyline. Each felt like its very own game and surprised me even when playing it over again. It incorporates all play styles and welcomes newcomers and veterans all the same. Nier: Automata could become a grinding game if you want, an achievement hunters playground and a story lovers cinematic experience. Do I even need to mention how great the soundtrack is?
