What an absolute piece of trash.

This game runs horribly, I even have the recommended hardware. I'm running an Acer Predator Helios with a GTX 1060, i7-7700HQ, and 16 gigs of RAM.

It is laggy an buggy. I can see the distant landscape textures through buildings. Outside, the distance textures almost copies itself and changes color, its hard to explain. Turning settings to low still has those same issues except now it looks even worse almost like a game from 2010.

This is unacceptable in today's day and age, absolutely unacceptable!!!! I'd be embarrassed if this was my game, there's no pride or passion anymore, it's all about greed...

I requested a refund!! 2020!!! What a disappointing year....

Early Access Review
Absolutley solid game in its current state, and here's why:

I'm coming from DK1 and this game does not disappoint. For starters, and most importantly its runs great, no game crashing, no FPS drops and stutters. Compared to DK1 it has a lot of new game features and mechanics to name a few including: walking/running, crouching/standing, frag grenades, window breaching, and so much more.

Included in EA is a solid amount of content, you get about 25 missions, a bunch of weapons, mission editor, and coop play. If you enjoyed DK1 you wont be disappointed with this installment. Additionally if you're a big fan of DK1 you still wont be disappointed, and you'll be able to support the developers.

OLD but GOLD!!!!!

I was like maybe 10 years old when I first played this game on Xbox, but I was to young to be any good. Though as I got older I remember having the fondest memories of this game; especially the first mission, in which your task is to eliminate a mafia boss in Italy.

The graphics are old and so are the game mechanics. Its a simple game in the sense that there's no: weapon hiding, human shields, melee, disarming, climbing, jumping, regenerating health, mission assistance, and many other features that players have come to expect in Hitman titles.

Don't let the lack of those features fool you into the false sense this game is easy. This is one of the hardest stealth games I have ever played. It's all about planing, thinking, and tactics. In some respects this game is better then current triple A titles coming out today, but on that same note this game is not for everyone.

I highly highly highly recommend this game for anyone who is a Hitman fanatic; or anyone who has fallen in love with the series since the Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018) games released, and those people want to play the original games that have made the Hitman franchise what it is today.

Lastly, this game works with zero problems on Windows 10 with a 1060 GTX (my current setup).

Well done New World Interactive, very well done. What you have here is a game that draws the best qualities out of the competition. You have the realistic gun dynamics of ARMA, with the fast paced action of Counter-Strike, the teamwork and commands of Battlefield, the weapon customization of SWAT, and the realism of war by Red Orchestra. Take all of that put it into the blender, and out through the pour spout comes Insurgency.

I picked this gem up on a Steam sale for $9.99 on June 4th, 2014 and felt like I robbed the developers, I would have gladly paid more. I was hesitant upon first seeing this game, due to the reviews it was getting about crashing. So I gave it 6 months and hoped for patches that … did come! So when I saw the sale I gave it a shot. This game has many fine qualities and only a few things I would like to see added with only a minuscule amount of negatives.

First off this game draws well from the current events happening around the world. The weapons, attire, and the environment are all spot on and realistic. The graphics are above average, controls are standard FPS but simple. Game modes are straight forward and easy to grasp. The maps are simple and well thought out with the action leading into a head on clash, yet complex enough to allow for sniper perches in windows and flanks through back alleys. Firefights tend to turn into tactical standoffs with teamwork and suppression being the winning combination. This game allows for all play styles and being dynamic about which style you use and when is crucial, there’s a time to camp and a time to run and gun.

A few things I would like to see added would be the ability to customize the bot games with a pre-setup screen. I would also like to see a persistent character with all the bells and whistles like rank and unlocks or at the very least a statistics counter, neither of which are currently in the game.

Ah, the negatives and glitches every game has them and this one has very few. One of which I noticed is you can see the outlines of people through the smoke, and bullets sometime come through the walls, and no, someone is not standing behind me shooting. These bullets don’t do damage, but are more just there. A little more polish would be nice, but by no means necessary. It would be like buying a brand new high end sports car and putting wheel shine on every time you stop. I highly recommend this game, and it is very well worth the money.
