First review ive made on a game. Honestly this was probably my favourite game of 2024. But after experience game breaking bug after bug. im not longer interested. Ive lost so much progress just due to ill planning, and the creators thinking making things harder is more fun. The idea behind chemical waste farming is abysmal. the drop rates are insanely low, extremely competitive, and even after looking past all of the core gameplay mechanics i disagreed with; after trying to board a ship for the first time, i lost 25 hours of progress. I was trying to board a tier 3 boat that i had narrowed out from a group of 3 after killing the other 2, and after getting down to a timer of 4 minutes from defending myself from constant waves of scavengers(aprox 8-12) i manged to fix the boat and was inspecting its stats. going from tier 1 to tier 3 was a big jump for me and i got way more durability i was excited, until i started getting shot at, AGAIN. So annoying, but used to it at this point i figured i would just accept the new bout, and swap into it real quick. swaping my inventory, i clicked occupy boat. Immediately i was thrown into an empty boat. unsuprised the game didnt build the boat for me, i quickly pressed b to put some emergency guns and power down to hopefully survive, guess what my inventory was empty too. now getting shot at by canons i close my inventory, low and behold, a tier 5, two tier 4 and a bunch of tier 3s. i get instarekt. spawning miles away on a empty boat, no inventory, unable to move...
i sit there for 3 minutes until i can tp to three whales, get my little dingy and go back. guess what. 25-40 hours of tier 2 cannons, metal armor, tons of fans generators, 400+ chemical waste... all permanently deleted. this is the last straw dude. I cant stand ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game developers that create a "MMO" scheme and say that its all about progression, and then have constant bug and glitches and either hamper, or straight of delete progression. Insane. This is not difficult. This is unbearably broken. Im a hardcore wow enthusiast, ive played new world, eso, guild wars, you name it. Ive never quit a MMO for a reason like this. Literally deleting my progress from bugs. Not just setting be back because i made a mistake, nah, ♥♥♥♥ ALL youre equipment. Why? You were trying to play the game.
